I'm so tired and sleepy
But I can't slumber
I just want to curl up in your arms
Lay my head on your chest
Let your heartbeat lul me to sleep
I know you're busy
I understand you're occupied
I miss you
Just wish I could listen to your voice
Every time I think I'm comfortable
My hands reach out and find only sheets
And then I move
I toss and turn
The tiniest bit of light catches my closed eyes
If I was with you it wouldn't matter
I'd just breathe your scent
Wrap my arms around your waist
Drift away into a sea of your breathing
I miss you
But I know you're distracted
I know you can't call me
I know you can't talk to me for the ten minutes it would take for me to drift off
But nights like this I really wish you could.
