eyes like night
that tore her up;
crushed her down
ethereal, but unjust

words like knives
up to her neck, pressing slowly
until she cannot breathe.
until she realizes she won't be set free.

she is imprisoned in a black hole-
a million and a half tears away.
tiny crystals fall on her;
they pierce through her skin.
they tear her apart,
little by little,
until
they
break
her.
