what do you see
at night, on the beach
with no light,
no people,
just you and the sea?
do you hear the waves crashing,
or do you silence yourself out?
two hundred and one little shells
surrounding you,
but your eyes are up in the clouds
what happens when you're lost at sea?
not your body, but your soul
stuck, wandering
slowly drowning
because you wandered off
the path you were originally supposed to be.
so, will you sink or swim?
