Jonathan Larson died 22 years ago today, on the morning of RENT's first off-Broadway preview.
It kills me that he completely changed the world of theatre, and never got to know just how many people he influenced. He was brilliant, and I'm so grateful for what he did while he was still here. I just wish we could know what he would have written and accomplished if he had more time.
Mr. Larson, if there's any possible way you could see this, thank you for everything.
Anyway, moving on from the tears (I'm not crying you're crying), here's a RENT tribute post.
