Disclaimer: I don't own anything except Aina and the plot.

I know, I know, I didn't wait, but I'm an impatient person, okay?

It was silent as Cyclops, aka Scott, Jean, and Logan aka Wolverine walked beside the Professor as he wheeled his mechanical wheelchair into Cerebro. He looked around at the mutants and humans and then announced to the rest, "I'm going to try to look for other advanced species that we might not know about." The others nodded in affirmative. He closed his eyes as he concentrated to push the mutants and humans out of the way. His eyes snapped wide open as he noted not one but two new species that he had not noticed before. The others were staring in astonishment as the gold extremely advanced beings and human/gold beings were seen. They did not expect the Professor to find any other advanced beings, at least on earth (which was the only planet Cerebro could detect advanced beings from) and silence was the only thing heard. He concentrated on the gold beings and was even more surprised that there weren't many of them and that if he concentrated on all of them, it didn't kill them, which shouldn't have happened. He started on concentrating on the gold-human beings and started when he realized that he could kill them, and quickly averted his attention. Most of them were grouped around Long Island, New York and Southern California, though some seemed isolated in small groups of two and three. As for the gods, they were mostly in New York as well, but they seemed to be living in another dimension of New York that only the half gold-half human beings could go to. He shut down Cerebro and turned around to face the rest of the group.

"Well, I suppose we have a new species to go and meet," he said to the rest. "Logan and Scott, go to Long Island first." He knew that Logan and Scott hated each other, but Logan was not a teacher, and would not make a good one, and Scott would rather he and Logan go together than Logan and Jean. "I am also observing a mutant among them. Pick her up and bring her here. She's a full elemental." Jean audibly gasped. "Wow, a full elemental? Not to brag, but is she as powerful as me?" The Professor grimaced. "She's more powerful than you. She thinks her powers are limited to fire, but they are not. She will learn to control all of them. On another note, I have decided to name the golden beings as gods. I cannot kill them, so that is what they must be. Now. Jean, help me prepare for classes tomorrow. We have work to do. Scott and Logan?"

They looked up at him.

"Good luck."
