Aina POV

I stared at the man with iron claws coming out of his hand ever so slowly in shock. How can someone actually do that? It doesn't happen every day that someone starts threatening you with metal claws. I almost felt my own hands hurt in sympathy. That must be PAINFUL!

Anyways, the man with funky glasses came up to me and said, "Are you Aina Kiyashka? If you think you're a mutant, you're right. You need to come back with us to see the Professor. If you know of the mutant problem, rest assured that we aren't the ones causing it. There's a man named Magneto, AKA Eric Lensherr, and he thinks that the mutants should be dominant over the earth and not have to share it with the humans. AKA, he's in a 'Kill All The Humans' stage. THe only thing is, he thinks what he is doing is correct and he will stop at nothing to make his idea real."

Leo scratched his head. "Not to intrude or anything, but what is the mutant problem?"

The man's claws came out full force in an instant, and he growled, "There is no mutant problem. Just some overblown thing that the government thinks is happening. Some mutants are attacking the government and others aren't. And there is no cure because it isn't a sickness!"

Leo held his hands up. "Woah, no need to get frisky there, bud. I don't even know what's wrong with mutants. You guys sound bloody awesome!"

"Yeah. They do. But the only problem now, is if I am a demigod or a mutant."

Logan grinned, showing teeth. "Oh, you aren't a demigod, kid. You're a mutant. If you ask for proof, we know your camp had only demigods and not mutants. Took a scan on it earlier. Naw, she's a mutant."

Leo frowned. "I figured as much," he said. "I couldn't imagine which god would be her parent. Not Hestapheus, but maybe Hestia? That wasn't likely, though. Yup diddidy doo da." (A.N. Sorry I couldn't resist! My mind doesn't seem to be working right now.) I raised an eyebrow. He looked at me as if saying, What? I sighed and shook my head in disbelief.  (again, sorry.)

I looked at the mutants. "All right, then," I said with finality. "I'll go with you. But if you're thinking I probably won't accidentally burn the building down, you are solely mistaken." Funky Glasses looked at me and grinned. "Don't worry, we'll teach you how to control it," he said with a smile."I'm Scott. And that guy over there," he said, pointing at Mr. Claws, "is Wolverine, aka Logan." Logan grinned with a feral look in his eye. I smiled tentatively at him.

Scott looked at Leo and said, "I don't think we ever learned your name?" Leo grinned, acting impishly friendly. "I'm Leo," he said. "And just so you know, if you come again, the big shots of the camp are Percy Jackson and Jason Grace. They're undefeatable when they're together, but they're cool." He winked at me. "Oh, and if you do come again, remember to bring her."

I rolled my eyes, smacking myself on the forehead. "Seriously, Leo?" I said, pleading the men with my eyes to leave. Scott cleared his throat awkwardly. "Alright,we should get going now," he said. "Bye, Leo, and tell the camp to be expecting a visit from our school, and that means our whole school. We won't stay the night though, the school isn't that far away-it's in the Bronx. We should be able to bus them here and back. I'm sure the Professor would like to meet your camp leader."

"That would be Chiron," he said. "See you next time!" he said. We all said our goodbyes and he waved to us once as we started heading back to their ship then scurried down the hill to their camp.

Scott powered up the engines as Logan took shotgun and I buckled myself up in one of the seats in the back. The plane lifted off and took off at an amazing speed. Logan groaned. Scott sighed.

"Logan, please do not puke in the air craft," growled Scott.

"Did I before on that time when Storm started making tornadoes?" Logan shot back icily. I sighed. This would be a very long and awkward trip back.

Hey peeps! Sorry for not updating for so long! I've owed you this update for a long time, so long that my sister forgot to keep on bugging me to update! For those of you awesome people out there reading this, I want to say thanks for giving my book a chance. I'm a newbie at this, so most of my updates will be short, unlike my favorite author Allicza! Go look at her, she's amazing.
