Max and Mike walked into the arcade. Mike saw Lucas, Dustin, and Will were already there playing Dig Dug. Will saw Mike and Max and raised an eyebrow. He nudged Lucas and Dustin, making them turn around too.

"What took you so long Mike? And what's Max doing here?" Lucas asked. Mike sighed. He shoved his hands into his jacket pockets.

"Maxine saved me from being jumped by Troye and his goons. So I invited her." Mike said. He looked at his feet. Max crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow. Is Mike really that embarrassed that he invited her??

"Alright, which game first?" Dustin asked Mike. Mike shrugged his shoulders.

"What about Pac-Man?" Max suggested. The guys all looked at each other.

"Sure. I need to get my name back in first place!" Dustin said. Everyone walked over to the game.

"Alright who first?" Will asked. Lucas and Dustin smiled at each other.

"How about Mike and Max?" Dustin said. Mike and Max went to protest but Dustin, Lucas, and Will already had both their names in the game. Mike and Max pressed start and started playing.

-----

"Again!" Max said in protest. Mike smiled.

"What's wrong? Can you not accept the fact that someone is better at Pac-Man than you?" Mike asked. Max rolled her eyes.

"You got lucky Mike!" Max said. Mike raised an eyebrow.

"For the 5th time." Mike stated. Max huffed.

"Okay fine, King Mike wins at Pac-Man." Max said in defeat. Lucas and Dustin raised an eyebrow.

"King Mike?" They mumbled in confusion. Will laughed.

"Ha! I win!" Mike said. Max walked over to the claw machine. She put some coins in it and moved the claw. She tried to grab a bag of cotton candy but failed.

"DAMMIT!" Max yelled. She kicked the machine. Mike walked over and played the claw machine. He grabbed the bag of cotton candy that max had tried going after. He handed it to her. She hesitantly took it.

"I figured I should give you something to make you feel better about the fact that I'm better at pacman than you." Mike said. Max rolled her eyes. Course he has to rub it in.Max suddenly fell flat on her back. Max winced.
"What's she doing here?" Max heard a voice say. Max turned and saw Eleven glaring at her. Mike stepped away.
"She saved me from Troye so I let her come to the arcade with us." Mike said quickly.
"I thought we talked about her." Eleven asked. The boys looked at Mike surprised. Mike avoided everyone's gaze.
"We did El. But I figured that I should let her hang out since she saved me." Mike told El again. Eleven crossed her arms.
"Wait, what are you doing here?" Will asked El. Another voice could be heard.
"Hey babe! Where are you?!" An all too familiar voice said. Max immediately gasped in shock. El looked at her feet. Troye Harrington walked over, wrapping an arm around El. Mike's eyes widened, they his eyes watered.
"Are you kidding me right now?!" Mike said in anger. Heads turned in their direction. Eleven huffed.
"That's what I came over here to talk to you about." El said calmly. Mike shook his head.
"No! Shut up! I already know where you're going with this okay! You don't need to tell me!" Mike said. He grabbed his jacket off of a chair a few feet away.
"I'm outta here." Mike said. He quickly walked away, exiting the arcade soon after. Max stood up.
"Wow. Look, Mike may not like me at all. But he did not deserve that!" Max said sternly. Eleven rolled her eyes at Max.
"It's none of your business." El snapped. Max nodded her head.
"You're right. It's not my business. But I'm going to make it my business because even though I don't know Mike very well, I do know that he loves you. More than anything on this earth. And you have the nerve to stab him in the back after he has risked his life for you! Yeah, Mike hates my guts. But I know a truly kind person when I see one, and that's what Mike is. It's not that you deserve better than him. He deserves better than you." Max snapped at Eleven. Eleven didn't reply. She took Troyes hand and walked away to a different part of the arcade.
"Is someone gonna go check on Mike?" Will asked. Everyone was silent. A voice could be heard from the prize booth.
"Is there a MadMax here?" The prize worker asked. Max walked up to him. He handed her the phone hanging on the wall. She held it to her ear.
"Hello?" She whispered.
"Max, tell Will I'm staying at his place tonight." Max recognized the voice as Mike's. She raised an eyebrow.
"Where are you?" Max asked.
"JUST TELL WILL WHAT I SAID MAXINE!" Mike bellowed loudly. Max held the phone away from her ear for a few seconds.
"Okay I did." She lied.
"One more thing." Mike said. Max huffed.
"What is it Mike?" Max asked.
"Go to hell!"
