Chapter 3

Your P.O.V.
My eyes slowly opened to meet the warm rays of the sun.
"Glad your awake, Gaur- Y/n." Pets voice rang in my ears.
I shifted my head to look at the brunette.
Her skin was paler than normal and darker bags were under her eyes.
Did she not get enough sleep?
"Ive come to my own decision." Pet said clearing her throat.
I raised an eyebrow, looking at her tired face.
"If you do wish to stay. Then I'll stay too, but please keep in mind I'll only be here if you are. You are my friend after all, I wouldn't want you to go through this alone."
Her words had touched my heart, bringing a small weak smile to my face.
"Please. Amethyst Falls will always be in our hearts, along with Lord April. But now it seems we have another duty Pet. We will serve Phoenix Drop as if to say thanks and show appreciation towards our saviors that came to our aid while we were in battle." I said staring straight into Pets dark brown eye.
Pet nodded in agreement.
She parted her lips to speak but was interrupted by a knock at the door.
"Come in." I called, shifting my head to look at the door entrance.
The door opened, revealing Garroth, Aphmau and a man with white hair with emerald eyes.
"How are you feeling, Y/n?" Aphmau asked walking over to me.
"Fine..." I mumbled, sitting up.
Aphmau hesitated before speaking again, "Can you try and walk around?"
I stiffened, but reluctantly nodded my head.
Slowly I placed both my feet on the cold wood boards of the infirmary.
With all the strength I could muster, I stood up on my feet.
My leg burned with pain.
I took a step forward, than another, than another.
Aphmau smiled, along with Garroth, the white haired male and Pet.
When I was near Garroth however, my hurt leg gave out on me, so I fell forward.
I braced myself for the impact, closing my eyes tightly.
I was confused when I felt no cold hard wood underneath me, but warm softness.
I slowly opened my eyes, and looked up to be met REALLY close with Garroth's face.
I flushed a bit at how close we were.
"Uhh...erm, sorry..." I said looking away from his perfectly sculpted face.
He chuckled, placing me on to my feet.
"It's fine. Don't worry about it." He said reassuringly.
I just nodded my head.
"Hmmm it's clear that your hurt leg is still weak... to save you from falling and getting more injured I'll have someone with you at all times when your walking around." Aphmau stated.
Nodding in agreement, I sat down on the end of the bed.
"Alright, I'll be going. Feel free to wander around the village." Aphmau said smiling at Pet and I.
We nodded and she turned to walk out.
"See ya around Pet." The unfamiliar male said.
"Y-yeah... sure..." she mumbled.
He walked out with Aphmau.
"Cya Y/n." Garroth said, leaving as well.
"Who's the other male?" I questioned Pet.
"Huh? Oh.. that's Travis.. I met him last night."
A smirk grew on my face and I wiggled my eyebrows at the brunette.
"Last night, eh?~" I questioned in a teasing manner.
Her face turned red and pushed my shoulders, so I layed on to my bed.
"Sh-shut up!"
I giggled at how flustered she was.
"...I'm gone to get some food, would you like to come or would you like me to get you something?" Pet mumbled standing up from the chair she once sat on.
"Mmmm... I'll come." I said, standing up slowly.
Pet nodded and led me out of the infirmary into the village.
I must admit, it was very crowded.
Loads of people were here, most of them talking about Irean.
Why would they come here to talk about Irean?
Is something special here that's related to Irean in any way?
I shook my head for id me of the thoughts.
This is no importance to me as far as I know.
"Hey! Kawaii~Chan was wondering if you knew were Nekoette~Tan was!" Squeaked a high pitched voice all of a sudden.
I turned around to see a woman, with beautiful pink hair and sparkly amber eyes.
She was obviously a meifwa from the black cat ears and tail that was shown in her appearance.
Our village was very fond of meifwa, we treated all of them with respect by bowing.
So as if an instinct I got on on knee,  and bowed before the pink haired meifwa.
"Eh!?! K-Kawaii~Chan is confused!" The meifwa squeaked.
Pet followed my action once she turned around.
"It's great to meet you, we come from Amethyst Falls. Sorry for the confusion, but our village respect meifwa deeply."
Pet said standing up.
This time I followed her action.
"Oh! Kawaii~Chan has never been there, Kawaii~Chan heard it recently burned down." She said with sadness deep in her eyes.
"Indeed it has. I'm sorry to have made you sad." I quickly added.
"N-no! Kawaii~Chans ok! But can er...what's your names?"
"Y/n."
"Pet."
"Could Y/n~Sama and Pet~Sama please help Kawaii~Chan find Nekotte~Tan?" Kawaii~Chan, I'm guessing, asked.
"Of course we can." Pet said softly, this lit Kawaii~Chans face up with a large thankful smile.
"Thank you! Kawaii~Chan's reward will be an apple pie!" Kawaii~Chan hummed.
I licked my lips on approval to her words.
And with that, we went out on a search for a young girl with light blue hair, white meifwa ears and tail and eyes like her mother.
This is going to be a long search, since this village is huge.
Bigger than Amethyst Falls.
Amethyst Falls...
I miss it.
