(Just pretend that everyone's aware of the animatronics having their ears and tails and stuff. Most people seem to be fine with it, and the animatronics can go in public as much as they like without having to worry about that.)

------ at the mall---------

"I didn't realize it was gonna be so crowded today," Freddy chuckled, then, glancing at the purple haired bunny next to him, asked," It's okay though... right?"

He knew Bonnie had a little bit of a social anxiety problem in public places. To the brunette's relief, the bunny nodded.

"It's fine~" he took Freddy's hand in his own," Besides, what does it matter? I'm here with you, that's what's important."

Freddy blushed, flattered and slightly embarrassed by Bonnie's kind words. He tightened his grip on the other male's hand, smiling.

"What did I ever do to deserve you?"

"Shut up" Bonnie's face flushed a bit. He wasn't used to showing very much affection for his partner in public, especially somewhere as public as the MALL.

"Come on, we can't just stand here all day," the bunny's said, pulling Freddy towards a clothing store they both liked.

(author-chan doesn't go places, like ever lol. Also I don't know where guys shop. I'm a girl. XD AND I WRITE GAY THINGS. LOGIC)

Almost immediately Bonnie saw a shirt that he liked. It was silver and black, with three quarter length sleeves. He picked it up, and held it against his chest, looking for approval from Freddy.

"I love it. You have a black and silver jacket that would match perfectly, don't you?" Freddy said.

"Oh yeah, I do! Definitely a keeper then." Bonnie smiled.

The pair wandered around the store for about an hour. After each of them had a few items; well Bonnie had waaaay more, but you get the point. Once they got to the checkout counter, Bonnie started to get out his wallet, but Freddy gently grabbed his arm.

"I got it," he said, giving Bonnie a look meaning he meant it.

"But Freddyyyyyy."

Without a word, Freddy pulled his own wallet out and handed his card to the cashier. She looked to be about 19, a year younger than the two animatronics. She had bright red-orange hair than was tied in a braid and blue-green eyes.

"I like your hair," Bonnie said, having noticed the girl's vibrant hair. He had given up on trying to convince Freddy about the pay situation.

"Thanks. I like your's to," the girl - who's nametag read 'Amber' - said. She smiled, motioning to Bonnie's purple hair.

"Ya know... if you weren't taken, I'd say you're pretty cute," Amber said to Bonnie as she handed Freddy's card back to him," I'm guessing he's really sweet and kind. You're a pretty lucky guy," she said to Freddy.

The brunette blushed at Amber's comment, and he could tell Bonnie was the same. The bunny stuttered," H-h-how did y-you k-know?"

"It was kinda obvious. I saw you both wandering around the store. It was pretty cute to watch." Amber giggled.

Bonnie's face turned a deeper shade of red, but he was smiling.

"Thanks."

"You're welcome. I presume I'll be seeing you both back here again?"

"Probably." Freddy said, softly tugging on Bonnie's arm, signaling that it was time to go," See ya."

"Oh, wait!" Amber said before the two could turn away completely," I was kinda wondering... what are your names? I'm Amber." she said, motioning to her nametag.

"Oh, I'm Bonnie and this is Freddy," the bunny answered, ignoring Freddy's continued tugging at his arm," It was nice meeting you, Amber." he waved, and she waved back.

After the two left the store, they wandered around a bit more. Eventually, they reached the food court. It wasn't until now that Bonnie realized just how hungry he was.

"Hey, Freddy, can we get some food? I'm hungry."

"Sure," the brunette replied. He seemed distracted by something all of the sudden. Bonnie, noticing there was a problem, tilted his head to the side a bit. He waited until after they had gotten food (pick a place, author chan is too lazy and writing chapter out of order right now lol.) to ask Freddy about it.

They sat down at a table away from everyone else in the area. Bonnie watchced Freddy's expression for a moment.

"You okay?"

"Yeah."

"Freddy."

"What?"

"Don't lie to me."

"It's nothing, ok?"

Bonnie knew it wasnt 'nothing', but he didn't press any further. He simply reached across the table and fluffed the brunette's hair a little. Freddy smiled a little bit, though it was somewhat forced. The events of a few days ago replayed in his head. Everything had been fine. He had felt truly comfortable for the first time in his life. Then it had been ruined.

"Fucking Goldie," he muttered.

Bonnie sighed. He wasn't as mad at Goldie for what had happened as Freddy was, but he understood how the brunette felt.

"Freddy.... it doesn't matter what happened with your brother. Just think of the good stuff that happened."

"Yeah..." Freddy sighed," I'm tired. Can we-"

"Go? Sure... I guess." Bonnie replied, getting up to throw their trash away.

He had to figure out how to fix the problem between the twins soon ... he knew it wouldn't go well if he didn't say anything.

"I'll talk to Goldie tomorrow," he thought.

Across the open space, on the other side of the food court, stood a young man with black hair and red eyes. He wore a black sweatshirt, with the hood pulled up over his head, mostly concealing the black bear ears atop his head. His general attire was mostly black with yellow trim, and he wore a black bandana over his mouth and nose. He watched the other two animatronics carefully.

"So he finally came out about it... about time," he muttered to himself," Perhaps I should pay them a little... visit." The mysterious bear smiled to himself," I think that would be fun, right cousin?" His eyes specifically followed Freddy as the pair left the mall.
