Author-chan note: Sorry for the inactivity over the weekend. I was sick. Also, this chapter's gonna be somewhat shorter than normal, but for good reason. Anyway, on with the drama!

--------------

"Did you have a good nap, little bro?" a voice came from somewhere above Bonnie. His head felt fuzzy, and he couldn't remember very well what had happened the night before.

"Bonnie. I know you can hear me." the voice said. The bunny didn't recognize the voice- it certainly wasn't any of his friends from the pizzeria. But he had said 'little bro' which meant he did know him.

Suddenly, Bonnie's head shot up. He did know the voice. He remembered now. His brother snickered, clearly amused.

"Nicky." he growled, not turning to watch his brother as the larger bunny slowly circled him.

"What? Can't I spend some time with my little brother? It's been forever since I've seen you." Nicky's voice dripped with fake sugary sweetness. It made Bonnie sick.

"Don't try that shit on me."

"What shit?" Nicky said, feigning innocence," I mean, it's not like those friends of yours would ever let me get anywhere near you. So I had to improvise."

"So what the hell do you want then?" Bonnie snapped, glaring at his brother.

"Oh, nothing much," Nicky paused," It's just that I heard from Nightmare.... that you.... and Freddy were perhaps..... dating?"

Bonnie's eyes widened," How did you-"

"Hey. Whoa. He told me," Nicky raised both of his arms defensively," I didn't see anything."

Bonnie's ears twitched in irritation," Why do you care?"

Nicky paused for a minute. Why did he care?

"I... I... uh..." he stuttered, trying to come up with an answer.

"You don't really, do you?"

"Shut the fuck up," Nicky snapped," I've got more important things to do than deal with this right now. Go home. Be glad I'm letting you off easy."

Without another word, he walked away, slamming the door shut behind him. Bonnie stood up, brushing himself off. He had to get out, he he didn't dare try to go out the front door. That was practically suicide. He walked over to the small window on the other side of the equally small room. Looking out, Bonnie could see that he was actually on the first floor; a lucky thing for him since the house was 3 stories tall. Gently, he tugged on the window latch. It gave easily, squeaking a tiny bit as it opened.

Just as he was about to leave, he heard a pounding on the door behind him. Bonnie froze, not even daring to breathe.

"I know you're still in there." Nightmare. It. Was. Nightmare.

Bonnie's brain went into a mini panic, but he couldn't get himself to move. He then heard the sound of a key turning in the lock- Of course. Nightmare would have a key.

Just before the door opened, Bonnie's brain finally kicked into action. He carefully climbed through the window. As he shut it, he could hear the sound of.... his brother? Yelling at Nightmare? He brushed the thought away and ran.
