"Call me if ya need anything, m'kay?" Chica chirped, waving a little as she slipped out the door. In the room she had just left sat Mari, who the blonde had been talking to, along with ShaBonnie, Plushtrap and Cy. The two young nightmares had an idea, and they had said they wanted input on it before they tried it. Mari was there, not because she was with the boys, but because she was staying with her sister after what had happened to her face.
"Okay. Thanks, Chica." The marionette said as she watched the blonde go. She stared at the door for a moment before turning back to the little group beside her.
"So. Plushtrap. Cy. What probably stupid shit are you up to now?" Mari asked.
"Well... as you both probably know, Nicky's birthday is coming up soon..." Plushtrap started, before being interrupted by ShaBonnie.
"No. Do what you want. But leave me out of it. I'm not gonna get myself killed." the older bunny snapped, glaring coldly at Plushtrap. Without another word, the shadow turned and vanished into the darkness.
"Uh....." Plushtrap stared at the spot where ShaBonnie had been," okaaayyyyy...."
"Um...," Cy continued where his friend had left off," We just kinda wanted to do something nice for his birthday..."
"Are you crazy? Nightmare would lose his fucking mind if we even tried that!" Mari exclaimed.
"Not there. Here. With his family." Plushtrap said softly.
Mari thought about it for a minute. Maybe they could do it here. Maybe. Wouldn't hurt to try, right?

This chapter and the next chapter are so short only because I'm splitting them up to help the story flow correctly. The next chapter is gonna be probably the shortest one yet, but for a good reason. At the time of me writing this, I have all the way through chapter 19 written if i keep it the way it is organized right now.
