Chapter 3

(Alex's POV)

I say next to Chandler in boredness of what the teacher was saying. The bell finally rang. I got up and grabbed my bag and I waited for Chandler.

He got up and walked next to me and showed me around. We started to see prom posters everywhere.

'Did I come TOO late?'

We walked around then awkwardly. I made a face I usually made when something was awkward. He looked at me and laughed a little bit.

"Yeah.. Prom is coming up soon..."

"I can tell.."

The day went by and in 5th period it was lunch. I sat at a table alone with my lunchbox. I could hear the people babbling about stupid things.

This girl came up to me and say next to me.

"Hi! I'm hana! Hana Hayes to be exact! What's your name?"

She said with a high voice. She had blonde hair and very pretty blue eyes.

"I'm Alexander.. But you can call me Alex for short.."

I said softly and shy to Hana.

"Oh.. Pretty name."

"Thank you.."

"Not a complement back? Okay.."

She said joking around. She flashed me a smile.
I shot one back.

Chandler walked past us with his friends.
Sam and Tyler.

"Woah.."

Tyler said looking at me.

"Hey. Shut. Up."

Chandler scolded Tyler as he said that.

"Who's she?"

Tyler whispered.

"Alex. And don't think about it."

Chandler said kind of angry.

"Hana's hot."

Sam said boldly.

Sam walked over to Hana.

"Hey. Wanna go to prom?"

"No. I wanna go with someone else."

She started to stare at Chandler. As if he was chocolate cake or something.

She sighed.

"Chandler."

I tightens my lips and smiled. I started to eat. Hana got up and pushed Sam away.

"Hey chandler.."

She said flirtatious. She got up all in his face and twirled her finger around his shoulder.

"Wanna go to prom with me? Well, when it comes?"

"Well. I- I wanted to go with Al-"

She cut him off.

"Great! Pick me up at 8!"

She ran off. I looked at Chandler then back at Hana.

Me and Chandler started to hang out at recess. Yes, recess. The only part of the day I like. We were laughing and sitting across from each other and playing a handshake. Like little kids.

"You're really cool chandler. I know this is the first time we met but..."

I held out my pinky.

"Promise you will be my friend forever? As never leave or replace me?"

"Promise.."

He locked his pinky with mine. We smiled at eachother.

It was finally the end of the day. I walked to the office and they gave me a locker number and combination. I walked out of the office and walked home.

"How was your first day of school?"

"Nice.."

"That's good.."

I gave my dad a hug and went upstairs. I threw my stuff on the ground and took off my shoes. I took out my laptop and got on Facebook. I searched up "Hana Hayes" I read something that had chandler in it.

"GOING TO PROM WITH THE HOTTIE ❤️@chandler_riggs1"

I made a 'okay then' face. I got off and put my laptop away. I went on the balcony and took out a comic book. Well, a lot of comic books to be exact. I was a total freak about these. I read them all until I wanted to go back inside.

I plopped down on my bed and fell asleep. Not setting my alarm. I had a dream about chandler. Well me and chandler. We kissed in my dream. When I woke up. It was 10:15 am.

"IM LATE!"

I ran to the bathroom and took a quick shower. I threw on a pair of grey skinnys, black converse, a Marilyn Monroe shirt and brushed my hair. I grabbed my bag and ran to school. Shutting and locking the door behind me. I ran inside school and ran to my locker. I put everything in there but my binder and books. I ran to my class. And there was Tyler and Sam. Tyler stared at me.

"Sorry I'm late.."

"Sit down Miss. Miller.."

I sat down beside Tyler. That was the only seat possible. Tyler looked at me and smiled. I looked back and smiled. After class, we hung out. He was really cool. Really funny too. I know it's stupid, but I kind of liked him.

"Hey I was wondering... Do you wanna go to the thing...?"

"Prom? Sure.."

"Oh okay! Hehe!"

His face became red and he started laughing and was pratically going crazy.

"Bye! Pick you up at 8!!"

He ran away.

"Ok.. Cool bye!"

((Later))

Chandler came up to me.

"Hey!"

"Hi!"

We stood there awkwardly.

"Well. Imma go.."

"Ok.. Bye.."

I walked away after he walked away.

Hana came up to me.

"Leave. Chandler. ALONE. He's mine. So back up and you won't get hurt."
