It took a lot in me to steal a kiss from Demi.. I didn't know if I should.. I didn't feel secure enough to do it until that split second happen.. that look she gave me..

I knew I wanted it to happen, but honestly, I had no idea that it would indeed happen.. yet here we are..

Her lips glued against mine.. my stomach in knots.. my heart beating fast as she caresses my jaw lovingly..

The last thing I wanted was a relationship.. but here I am.. kissing the only girl that could break this line of thoughts I had..

My hand was on her knee pulling it closer to my body.. I wanted to hug her and engulf her in my chest.. I wanted her to tell me she loved me and that I was hers but right now, I really don't know where we stand..

We came here to talk and know eachother better, but all I got was more confused.. this feeling started to become a normal thing to feel around her..

I pulled back still with my eyes closed praying that she wouldn't run away.. praying that she was going to tell me that she enjoyed my company and that she didn't want to go..

But instead.. we just stood there quietly.. listening to other people talking and kids screaming.. our forheads against eachother..

I was trying to calm myself down in these quiet seconds.. I was trying to let life pass by.. hoping that this all could be easy.. hoping that this kiss gave me a fresh restart..

That is until I heard and felt her sob..

I instantly opened my eyes and saw the tears streaming down her cheeks.. she was trembling and shivering.. I panicked, of course

- Was it really that bad? - I asked innocently

She opened her eyes and something crossed my mind..

"- Well.. I dated this girl, Olivia for about.. 3 to 4 years.. and we were like.. best friends you know?.. I knew her so well and she knew me.. it was just that.. perfect fairytale love story - I chuckled"

"- I can't relate.. - she chuckled looking at me - Go on.."

And just as that flashback ended, Demi shoved herself against my chest hugging me tightly as she cried.. All I could do was shush her and caress her hair while she sobbed against my coat

I hugged her just as tightly as she hugged me and for a while we stayed there.. we weren't going anywhere.. we weren't in a hurry..

She eventually pulled back and wiped her eyes making me laugh at the racoon girl in front of me

- Your make up is all smudged - I warned her

- Can you help me please?.

I nodded giggling and wiped her mascara as well as I could - Well.. this is a first.. a girl crying from a kiss.. was it really that bad?

She smiled softly - No.. it wasn't.. I swear.. it was the opposite - she answered staring right into my soul

- Do you have anything you want to get off of your soul?.. maybe about your "shit show" kinda life.. maybe about an adorable little girl called Rafaela?..

Her eyes widened and she grabbed my wrist - You know?.. how?.

I smiled at her - I went to pick up my niece.. Alena Rose..
