Chapter One: Decision

Lucas pov;

"Encore! Encore! Encore!" We cheers after Blackwings finished the last song for this concert.

"Okay okay. Calm down Whitewings. We will play an encore song as our Angels want. Here we go 'calling you' from us to our precious Whitewings." The music are booming, everyone fired up. We sing together with them at the chorus.

After the song end, Ryan Stone the leader and main vocalist of Blackwings said "We want to thanks all of you Whitewings for the support and love. We love you too and we will meet again after our world tour for 3 months. We hope the Whitewings will always be happy and healthy. Take care of yourself so that we can meet again after the tour. We love you guys, thank you." We cheers while they step down from the stage.

"I miss them already." I whine to my friend Lisa as soon as we get out of the concert hall and we talk as we approach my car.

"Awww.. me too. But we need to support their dreams to spread their wings to other countries remember." She remind me of our goals as a Whitewings.

Lisa is my only friend that share the same interest with me. We are 22 and a very loyal fans of Blackwings. I've known them since their debut 3 years ago and have been to all their concerts and events. After few months of being their fans, i invite Lisa to one of their concert and she stays with me until now.

"I know but to not see them for 3 months makes me sad. We always see them here because they live here. Now my life will be lonely without them." I said, sighing and driving to drop Lisa at her place.

"You know you can always call me if you get lonely right? Or go get a boyfriend. You're cute, i bet you can attract even straight men if you open up a little."

"No way. I'm too shy to do that. I'm a nerd, no one likes me. Even Blackwings didn't noticed me as their loyal fans. They know you and even remember your name. Why didn't they remember mine? I want them to notice me and know my name too."

"You know what, i has a plan. Why don't you change your style. Wear something more fashionable than that hoodie and change your glasses to contacs. I'll help you. What do you think?" She said with excited face when i glance at her.

"Okay... you look excited and that's dangerous. I don't know Lisa. I don't think anything will change. I'm still a nerd."

"Something will change Lucas. Believe in yourself a little. You're cute and you know that. I'll give you time to think about this okay?"

"Then give me a month. I'll think about this. Thank you Lisa for being here with me." I said and stop my car in front of Lisa's house.

"No thanks needed you bitch. We're best friends, of course i'll help you. I'll head in now, see you later." She said after hugging me. I watch until she enter her house and continue driving to mine.

I park my car in the garage and tip toeing to my bedroom. My parents are a lightsleeper and i don't want to wake them up. They know about me being gay and a fan of Blackwings. My parents being the most supporting parents and accepting me as gay is the best thing that ever happen to me.

I finished showering and go to my closet changing to my pj. Laying down on my bed i think about changing my appearance. What if nothing change after i do that? It'll just waste mine and Lisa's effort.

It's morning. I don't remember when i fall asleep last night. Today is saturday and i don't have any plans. So i'll just stay at home and read some books.

"Lucas, come down. Breakfast's ready." My mom shout downstairs.

"Give me a minute mom." I shout back. Getting up from my bed, i head to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. After that i head to the kitchen. My parents and sister already started eating their breakfast.

"Good morning" i said as i approach my mom to give her a kiss on her cheek.

"Morning honey" my mom said and kiss me on my cheek back. I heard my father said morning and a mumble from my sister, Elly. Mom ask me about the concert while i eat. After that they go shopping but i want to stay at home. Staying at home and reading books is the best thing to do for a nerd like me.

One month later,

I am a final year student in college and taking double major, business administration and banking. Normal students usually just have one major but i can since i'm an alien, what Lisa called me because i'm a nerd and genius.

Today is the day i make decision if i want to change or not and i'm still not sure actually. While waiting for Lisa to finish her class i think about the pro and cons after i l've change my appearance. What if i don't like the attention that i will get? I always enjoy silence. I don't want people especially girls to get into my private life. But i want Blackwings to pay some attention to me. "Arrggghhh!! This is so confusing. Whatever! I don't want to think anymore." I said while my hands clutching my head.

"What is so confusing?" Lisa suddenly said and i jump because i didn't see her coming.

"Nothing, lets go." I said grinning and get into my car with her at the passenger side.

"So, what's your decision?" She ask as soon as i start the car.

"I'm in. I want to try. If its not working i can just go back to my usual self right."

"That's my man." She said while ruffling my hair. "I'm happy. Lets go! To a shopping mall." And looks like she's too excited. I'm scared... help me...
