Christy's POV.

I woke up the next day as early as I could so as to be on time. Who knows what my devil of a boss has in stall for me this morning. I got to the office thirty minutes early to the glory of God. I made sure all the necessary documents we needed for the day were in order before I went into my boss's office. There really wasn't much work to be done there but I made sure to touch the room a little bit for it to look presentable. I headed for the door when I was done. I bumped into Mr. Wright on my way out and greeted him out of shock and stepped aside for him to come in. I stood waiting for him to give me an instruction before leaving his office.

"We're having a meeting in the next three hours and we're going to be making use of Room 48, you know room 48 don't you?" He asked after he'd had already taken his seat and settled down. He was putting on a grey shirt that revealed a lot of things and if it weren't my boss, I'd admit he looked quite charming.

"Yes Sir, I do." I replied blocking my mind from every thought that it shouldn't be having.

"Good, now the said room has not been used in a while so it's going to need some cleaning up," He paused and looked at me in my eyeballs before continuing, "I want you to clean the room very well, then you'd go into the store room at the other wing of the building and bring the tables and chairs there into room 48 and when you're done, you have the light technicians adjust the lights. Is that clear?" He asked still looking at me like he was expecting some sort of retort.

"Yes Sir," I said instead.

"Good," he said and dismissed me.

I wondered why he'd dare me with his stare like he was expecting the work to be very difficult for me. I unlocked the door to room 48 and got in. The room was in total darkness as the binds covered the whole windows. I switched on my torchlight from my phone and searched for the rooms switch. I found it in no time and I turned them on. The sight before me made to let out a scream. I held my mouth to stop the screaming as I looked at the room. The room was horrifying and this man said it hasn't been used in a while, I personally think it hasn't been used at all! I shouted the blood of Jesus–as is very typical of every Nigerian–as I checked out the room. I lifted up a rubbish from the floor and a rodent ran for it's life causing me to jump up in fright. I clicked my fingers continuously as I muttered blood of Jesus non–stop.

"What kind of a place is this?" I asked myself. Then shaking my head in objection I left the room to my office. I picked up the receiver of the telephone to dial to the janitors office. Heaven knows I can't clean that office by myself. I placed the receiver on my ears when I heard my boss's door open.

"Does this look like Room 48 Christiana?" He asked quietly.

"Certainly not Sir," I said and dialled the janitor office again.

"So what the hell are you doing here?"  He growled in frustration this time.

"I'm dialling the janitors to do the cleaning in that room. That room is something else. It needs proper cleaning and it's only people that went to school to study room cleaning can do that." I said trying their line again. Why in God's name is no one picking up?

"With whose permission?" He asked and I couldn't help but look at him.

"I need your permission to do that too?" I asked with an arched brow.
