Reggie - Jealousy

Hey Y/N!" A cheerful red-head greets you. You turn around from your locker and see Archie standing in front of you.

"Oh, hey Arch! What's up?" Recently you and Archie Andrews, the rising star of Riverdale High's very own football team, have been getting closer. He'd always keep you company when you'd wait for Reggie, your boyfriend, to finish up in the locker room after long, grueling practices and even offer to buy you dinner at Pops.

"Are you free tonight? I was thinking we could see that movie your always talking about." He offers with a smile that quite literally reaches from ear to ear.

"Actually I-" your interrupted when a strong hand is placed on your shoulder.

"She'll be with me tonight." A beyond agitated Reggie states. More like threatens. This wouldn't be the first time Reggie has been vocal about his hatred towards Archie. You two have even fought about it many times.

"Yeah that sounds great!" Your smooth hair that is currently held in a high ponytail from cheer practice, flips slightly in Archie's directions as he tells you about a show he's playing in a few weeks. He's invited you to come and watch and who were you to say no?

"Y/N!" Reggie's voice cuts your conversation with Archie and you turn around just in time to see him jogging up to you.

"I thought I was driving you to mine today?" Reggie says, referring to your plans to go over to his house to watch movies and..do other things.

"I was just walking out with Archie. I thought we could meet in the parking lot?" You find yourself nervously twiddling your fingers, hoping Reggie doesn't jump to conclusions or say something rude to Archie.

"Yeah man, nothing serious." Archie cuts in. Inside your head, you beg him to stay out of it. The less Archie, the less of a chance of a very angry Reggie.

"Stay out of this, princess." Reggie snarls at Archie, his teeth slightly showing from anger. So much for hope.

"Lets go, Y/N." He takes your hand and leads you out the two wide entrance doors of Riverdale High.

"God dammit, your so stubborn." Reggie angrily opens the car door for you and waits for you to get inside.

"Well your just as jealous as I am stubborn." You retort, reluctantly climbing into his car and hearing him shut the passengers door for you.

He starts the car and pulls out of the school parking lot before talking again.

"Why don't you listen to me when I tell you to stay the hell away from him." You notice Reggie's hand visibly tighten on the steering wheel.

"Because you shouldn't be telling me who I can and can't be talking to all the time.

"Actually as your boyfriend I'm obligated to say 'hey Y/N! That guy is really prying on you! Maybe you should stay away from him from now on!'" He mimics in a fake cheery tone, making your eyes roll.

"Do I really have to go over this again?" You're beyond exhausted at this point.

"Yeah, like hearing your 'Archie's just a friend and nothing more' speech will help."
