07. An old friend

{Taehyung's POV}

I woke up because of a loud crashing sound that was coming from downstairs.
Rachel was still sleeping besides me.
I thought nothing about it, maybe Namjoon-hyung had just broken something again.
So I closed my eyes again, but then I heard again some noise downstairs, it sounded really weird and somehow dangerous too.
I got slowly up from my bed and decided to check what was going on there.
As I was on my way down on the stairs, I heard voices that sounded unfamiliar.

"Where's she?" said the unfamiliar voice.
I was curious who that was.
"Maybe she's upstairs!" said another unfamiliar voice but this time it was a woman's voice.
I immediately froze on the stairs in shock.
That two must be Rachel's aunt and uncle.
They searched her!

I panicked, I can't let them find her.
Now I need to protect her from them.
But how?
What should I do now?
And where are the boys?
Who let this two inside?

I went back to my room and locked the door.
I looked at Rachel who still was sleeping on my bed.
I need to get her out of here!
But how?

My gaze goes through the room and stopped on the window.
In front of my window was a little rooftop, maybe I could sneak her out on that way.
I go to her and tried to wake her up, but she slept too deeply.
I will need to carry her then.
"Everything will be okay sweetie, but we need to get out of here." said I carefully to her while she's still sleeping peacefully.

I took her up and got out of the window.
Now I was on the little rooftop and searched for a way to come down of it.
Suddenly she woke up in my arms.
"TaeTae, what's going on? Why are we on this rooftop?" asked she still sleepy.
I looked at her.

"Your aunt and your uncle are here, they're searching for you. We need to go away from here fast, before they can find you." explained I to her.
Her eyes widened in shock.

"What? But how could they find out that I'm here?" said she with a afraid expression in her face.
"I don't know, but the most important thing is now to find a way down from this rooftop." replied I.

"Maybe we could jump down from it, I mean it's not that high." said she and looked at me.
I looked down from the roof.
Maybe I shouldn't have done that, because I'm really afraid of heights.
But right now was not the time to be afraid.
"Maybe that could work." answerd I and nodded.
She was the first one who jumped down, but for me it was really difficult to jump down.
I shut my eyes and took a deep breath.

"Got you!" heard I suddenly say a unknown female voice.
I rapidly opened my eyes and had seen how Rachel looked in shock at the woman.
A man showed up, he must be the one who was inside before.
"You little brat, have you really thought you could escape from this!?" screamed he at Rachel and walked towards her.

Why didn't she move?!
"RACHEL-AH, RUN!!" cried I and her uncle noticed me now, but Rachel seemed still to be under shoock, because she still stood there frozen.
"Oh, your little friend will not protect you from this, you have something that belongs to us!" said he while he grabbed roughly her arm.
I jumped down and ran towards them.
"Take off your hands of her!!" screamed I angrily at her uncle and tried to rip her out of his palms.
But he pushed me away and Rachel behind him to the woman.

When the woman grabbed Rachel, I tried again to run to her, but her uncle knocked me down and kicked me in my stomach multiple times.
"Taehyung-oppa!" heard I Rachel screaming, while I suffer in physical pain.
I need to protect her, I've promised it!
But my pain was to big, i couldn't even move.
I couldn't protect her right now.
Where are the others?
I felt again a kick in my stomach.
"No! Stop hitting him!" screamed Rachel again and tried to get out of the woman's grip.
