Unedited.

Heartless human. I thought those species never existed. I thought. My hand curling up into a fist as I stare at Brown. We never spoke to each other after that. It's like, we forgot our past, short conversation. I didn't want to sit beside him again, so I seated at the back.

I leaned at my right side to look out on the window. Trees, houses, lights and people were surrounding the place. What is today?  I asked myself. I looked to my left side. Food are placed on tables. "Goddangit, some old festival is happening." Brown said. He click his tongue and whistled a tune.

"We should join them! I'm really hungry!" I exclaimed. "No. You stay here. We'll be tired if we join them. I'll just go get some food." He ordered. Pfft. Killjoy. I'll make decisions of my own. I thought as I grin maliciously.

He unlocked his door and got out. Chance. After he was out of sight, I struggled to try adjust the car chair. Lie down! It finally did what I told it to. I opened the lock and got out.

Wow. Really loud. Wonder what's this festival about. Some old, traditional music was playing. I was suddenly blinded by the blue and green lights surrounding the whole area. If I'm experiencing this, then Brown is going through the same. I have to find him.

I searched almost everywhere. Getting squeezed by the crowd isn't helping me either.

Let's go back to the car. I thought, giving up.

I saw a black Toyota Celica. Yes. That's ours. That's our car. I walked towards it and Brown still wasn't there. Wait, need to check the plate number. EYP 826,..... I repeated in my mind.

It was the car! Oh no, Brown's in trouble.

At this time, my hunger went away. I only had one objective, find Brown. My phone! I realized. I searched my pockets and found it. Goddangit! I don't have his number! I moaned under my breath.
