Dexter's POV

This is a new day for me. I slept sad and still, I woke up sad. I actually couldn't sleep. I only had 3 hours of sleep, because Kezia keeps running on my mind. And this heartache of mine seems not to stop.

I quickly went to the bathroom, took a bath and didn't eat my breakfast for I don't have an appetite.

I feel physically weak, and emotionally drained. I feel everything won't get back to its normal state. I get ready for school until I arrived at school. It seems a normal day for every students here but for my section, we are all mourning.

I checked my phone and ohh, it's already 7:28. I'll be late. So I decided to walk faster. Four more departments to go.

"Mr. Bautista, good morning." The teacher greeted me as I walk inside the classroom and get into my chair.

Their eyes are on me now. I didn't say even a single word for I am not in the state of mind to talk to anybody. As usual, I'm at the last rows of the chair at the side of the window.

Seeing all my classmates without wearing their usual smiles are another heartbreak I felt. It's like I don't know them anymore. Can we put things back the way it used to be? Please?

My heart beats abnormally. I've never felt this way again before. I just lost interest in everything. I've never noticed that my love for Kezia becomes deeper. I looked at the chair behind my back.

"Dexter... Why don't you have any answers on your paper?" she whispered to me while we're taking the quiz.

"I don't know the answer." I whispered back as I scratch the back of my head. "Unless you'll give me. Hahaha." I said teasingly as I winked at her.

"Hmmm..." she pouted. I returned my focus on my paper again, still looking at it blankly. I don't know what to do.

But, a crumpled paper landed on my table.

What's this? I asked myself.

I opened it. Ohh, these are the answers! I turned to Kezia's direction-- she smiled until her eyes were hardly to be seen and returned her focus on her paper. I was going to smile back but it was too late.

"Okay, class dismissed." the loud voice of the teacher got me back to reality. I sighed.

The class was already dismissed but the atmosphere is still the same. As if nothing happened.

Cheska waved at me. "Did she caught me staring at her?" I asked myself. "Hi!" I waved back to her in an awkward manner.

After classes, I went straight to a place somewhere in school where I always stay to calm myself and to unwind. This place is so bright. You will inhale and exhale the freshness of positivity in here. It's like when you entered this place, you'll feel away from harm. This is just the best place.

I went to the bench at the side of a tree and I sit there and I enjoy the view as I reflect on the things happened in my life.

"Lacrimosa dies illa~" I heard mellifluous voice somewhere in this place. It sounds creepy but that sweet voice is getting my attention.
