After about a half an hour rest, Liam called me downstairs to go eat some pasta he had made. My head still felt heavy and I felt very weak as I tried to walk down one of their staircases. Slowly, I managed to make it to the bottom and into the kitchen. I immediately collapsed on one of the bar stools at their marble island in the center of the kitchen.

"Dinner is served," Liam said as he placed a large bowl of pasta in front of me. To my surprise, the pasta actually looked really appetizing. I could feel my stomach grumble out loud. A small smirk spread across Liam's face when my stomach decided to sound like a dying whale.

"Someone must be hungry," he said laughing a little bit.

"You have no idea," I said as I picked up my fork and started digging into the large bowl.

My tastebuds exploded with excitement as the warm pasta touched my rough tounge.

"Oh my god, Liam this is amazing" I managed to say when I wasn't stuffing large balls of pasta into my mouth. I probably looked so un-lady like at that moment, but I didn't care one bit.

"Thanks Kate," Liam said as he sat down next to me with a bowl of pasta in his hands as well.

He took a huge ball of pasta and pushed it into his mouth. I was surprised that he could fit that much into his mouth. He must've notcied me staring at him because he raised his eyebrows at me as he stuffed another fork-full into his mouth.

"You eat a lot of pasta," I said to him teasingly.

"I like food," he said before taking a large sip out of his glass of milk. When he pulled away the glass from his lips, I couldn't help but laugh as a milk moustache appeared above his upper lip.

"What?!" he asked confused. "What?! Why are you laughing?!" The clueless look on his face was priceless.

"You have a milk moustache," I told him.

I dont exactly know what came over me but my hand moved up to his face and started to wipe the milk away from under his nose. I could feel his warm lips against my finger but morely, I could feel my hear beat racing faster and faster. His eyes trailed over to my face and captured my eyes right away. Why had I done that?

He seemed just as shocked as I was that I had done that. It was such a small gesture, but it was kind of a romantic gesture at that. I hoped that he couldn't hear me breathing in and out quickly.

"Uh..thanks," he said turning his head away from my gaze. I felt a rush of hurt when he turned away from me. Why?

I had no idea.

I mean, I guess I could admit that Liam was a good looking boy. Sure, he could be a jerk most of the time, but then he would do something sweet like make me pasta or lay me down in a blanket in his room. Those little actions would just make my heart melt in my chest. I didn't really love the fact that he could be a tool sometimes, but his kind actions overthrew those negative actions.

Wait...was I really developing a crush on Liam Johnson? The one who has annoyed me since the day I met him? The one who would ignore me in school? The one who would make me laugh? Who would make me angry at the same time?

I found it hard to admit to myself that I actually was falling for Liam's good side, but I couldn't deny it either.

I was falling for him whether I wanted to accept it or not.

After a few minutes of awkward silence, it was broken by Alex entering the house. The clock read 6:45 and I wondered where he had been.
