I shake my head, attempting to collect my thoughts.

"Maybe I should go back.." I speak softly, finally breaking the silence.

I know my family isn't great, but I'd hate for them to worry about me. I don't want to cause any trouble, I just wanted to get out of the situation I was in.

I can't handle being bossed around and being treated like a child everyday, I'm an adult now. I can do whatever I'd like to with my life.

"It's really up to you, kitten. I don't want to keep you from your family, but I'd love to have you here." Harry finally speaks, a comforting smile appearing on his pink lips.

I process his words, considering my options. I could go back to my overbearing family, or I could stay here with Harry, a man who I've always like. A man who treated me like an adult and has respect for me.

I pick the obvious choice. Why would anyone leave in this situation?

I look into his forest green eyes, giving him a smile in return.

"You know, I don't mind either way." He pats my shoulder, brushing his fingers through my hair for a moment, "but I can take you home if that's what you'd like." He finished.

After a moment of silence I finally speak up,

"I'd like to stay here, Harry." The words fall from my lips and a sweet smile forms on his yet again.

"You do?" his voice holds a bit of eagerness that he seems to be trying to mask.

I nod my head without hesitation, my voice holding confidence now.

"Of course I do."

Harry envelops me in a hug, lifting me off my feet for a moment.

"Harry! Let me down." I shout playfully, a squeal erupting from my lips, following laughter.

"I'm just excited." Harry mumbles into my hair before placing me back down on my own two feet.

"I'm glad you're here." He beams.
