Chapter 8

BEN Drowned's POV

"HEY! Ther Three of you!"

Oh Crap!

As soon as we heard that, our heads snap to whoever it was. "What are you doing eating them without paying?!" The manager shouted. We pretended we both didn't know Masky. "Traitors!" Masky yelled while being dragged towards the office. "Shouldn't we help him out?" She said. "Nah, he'll get out of there. Plus it's his fault, he needs to learn a lesson." I said as I push the cart towards the cash register.

We got home now..and I kept having the strange feeling that someone was following us. I often stop and looked back but, no one else was behind us...I think it was just my imagination.

"Waah! Give me the egg made of chocolate!" Sally jumped up and down unpatiently waiting for her kinder egg. "Wait Sally! Be patient!" Slender scolded but he didn't yell though, Sally pouted "Haha, little squirt got scolded by Slender" Jeff teased and messed up her hair. "Hey!" Sally slapped Jeff's hand away

"Marielle I'll be upstairs okay babe?" BEN said.

Our eyes widened. No one else had heard of BEN calling me 'babe' yet.

"Babe?" Masky repeated for confirmation. "Uh ..I meant gabe." BEN lied and let out a nervous laugh but it only pointed out that he was such a bad liar and not good at lying. I looked at him like 'what-the-heck?' And he looked back at me with a 'sorry-that-was-the-only-thing-that-I-could-think-of' look

"I didn't know you guys started calling each other that?" Masky raised a brow. "Uhh.. W-we haven't." I said lying. "He called me gabe because...because uhm..it stands for....GA--Y BABY!" I said.

"Gay baby? Why would 'YOUR BOYFRIEND' call you that?" Valerie emphasized the words 'YOUR BOYFRIEND'. "Be-Because uhm.. Gay stands for carefree and light-hearted right? and um.. I'm such a baby because I- er.. I cry alot and it makes me a cry baby."

What I said only proved that BEN and I weren't that pretty good at lying. BEN looked at me the same look I gave him earlier. I glared at him. "Well I got to go....use the kitchen! i mean bathroom! Bye!" I rushed upstairs, but before I could leave I glanced at BEN who was lying down and had his hand reaching out to me and mouthed the words 'Don't leave me!'

I gave him a devious smile and mouther 'This is all your fault'

BEN Drowned's POV

H-how could she! This is awkward and embarrassing. She was the first girl I said babe to infront of someone else.

What do I do!?
