Chapter 28

Jeffrey Woods' POV

Slender called us all up to gather in the living room. I think we all know what it was about.

BEN came in with a gloomy look on his face. He slumped down the sofa and looked out the window pretending to not give a f**k. Jack entered the room like he thinks nothing interesting was going to happen. I'm curious why he's not flipping out. The girl he likes is about to die. Isn't he feeing miserable?

Maybe he got over her already.

"So.. You all know why I called you all here." Slender started when we all arrived. We nodded in answer exempting BENJAMIN, since he still acted to not care. I could clearly see his trembling body. " You all agreed to kill them after the year and I promised to give the consoles after the year ends."

BEN just nodded but he still wasn't looking. "BEN. You'll be happy to hear that.. We aren't killing Marielle.." After Slender spoke those words BEN immediately snapped his head towards Slender. "W-What?"

"We can't kill her." Slender repeated. I too was obviously shocked. Jack doesn't seem to even flinch. Maybe he knew? Maybe that's why he's not in a rage right now.

"Wait. I'm not complaining or anything.. I'm actually happy.. but why? Why aren't we killing her?" He asked. "Yeah. Why does Marielle get to be special?" I asked.

Jack let out a sigh. "Because she already died you idiots! And I'm not saying she's a killer, but the being inside her is."

"Oohh.." BEN and I nodded and Eyeless just shook his head.

"However, Ms. Anderson and Ms. Brown still has to.. go."

"You mean Jamie and Valerie?" I said and Slender just nodded once. I could care less for that woman. "Alright! Happy to do that for ya!" I said as I stand up bringing out my knife out of my hoodie pockets. "Hold on Jeffrey. I did not tell you to kill them now. We shall kill them after the year ends and we have 1 more day until that awaited day arrives."

"Alrighty then.." I said as I sat back down.

"Slender, is this all? Because I'm happy to go back to my room now." BEN stood up. "Yes BENJAMIN. You are all dismissed. "

I scoffed. "What is this? A classroom? You get to dismiss us?"

"Jeff.." Jack warned and I backed off.

'Alright! I get to end the life of that annoying woman. I think I'm actually giving her a favor, she's finally going to join her family.'

Valerie Brown's POV

"So.. I think you all heard that after the year, we would be ..let go of already, right?" I said.

"Yeah. I'm going to miss this house." Jamie said as she lied back down Sally's "floor-bed."

"Aww! I'm going to miss you guys!" Sally stood up to huh us all. "It was nice to actually get another girl in the house since I'm the only girl here." She let's go of the hug.

"Yeah.." I smiled. Then I thought about it. "Hey! You know.. I'm actually going to confess to Slender.." I boldly said. "What? Really?!" Marielle piped in. "Yes. Really! I'm so nervous.. What if he doesn't like me.. o-or what if he rejects me?" I began to feel down.

"Don't down yourself woman! You gotta boost your spirits up! You know Wo-man up and tell him how you feel about him!" Marielle said as she lightly punches me in the shoulder. "Okay.." I smiled. "Yeah.. I know Slender won't turn you down.." Sally gave me a toothy grin.

'Gosh. It's good to have friends to boost your confidence.'

"He-" Marielle was about to say something when the door bursted open and tackled her to the ground. "Ah!-... BEN?!" She was about to yell but realized it was only BENJAMIN.

He sat up and tightly hugged her. I felt envious of her that she has a loving boyfriend..

"B-BEN.. Why are you hugging me all of the sudden? Geez. You scared me!" She said pulling out of the hug and lightly pushed on his chest. "Sorry.. I couldn't help. I'm just.. so so happy.." BEN smiled. "Pfft. Why?" Marielle couldn't help but let out a smile because of how BEN looked, he looked like he won the lottery. His smile could make anyone smile, even I smiled when I saw how happy he looked. "..No reason.." He shook his head the smile never vanishing from his lips. "Wait.. There actually is a reason.." He held her hand and raised it up to his lips. "I have the most beautiful and wonderful girlfriend.." He began to give light kisses in her hand up to her lips. She giggled.

Yieee~! You do not know how happy I was. Don't forget! I ship them both~!

"D'aww.. BEN.." Marielle hugged him. "You're so sweet.."

She then pulled away but her arms were still linked around his neck. She was practically sitting on his lap. "Hey did you know Valerie's going to confess to Slender!" She squealed and blood immediately rushed to my cheeks. "H-Hey! You didn't need to tell him that!"

"Oh.. is she now.." BEN's face darkened and his smile disappeared. His tone became.. different. "Is there something wrong.. BEN?" Marielle asked. I guess she also noticed his sudden change of expression. "N-No nothing's wrong. I- I.. we should go to bed now.. It's late already.." He said covering it up with a smile but it wasn't like before. "But it's only 7:30..." Marielle frowned. "O-Oh.. ah.. Yeah okay.. I should go.. I'm probably disturbing you girls." He gently removed Marielle from his lap and stood up. "Bye.." He waved and so did we.

"Oh my gosh. I'm so jealous of her boyfriend!" I shook Jamie's shoulders. "He's sooo sweet!"

I gasped and let her go. "Do you think Slenderman would be like that? Is he sweet and caring? I mean I know he's a gentleman but.. is he romantic?"

"Well.. we'll find out when you confess to him.." Marielle's pitch went up when she said 'him.'

"Aww.. I hope he likes me back.." I crossed my fingers. "Relax Val I'm sure he likes you too.. I mean who wouldn't" Marielle put a hand on my shoulder shaking it gently. "Yeah. Who wouldn't? I mean if I was a guy I would totally have the hots for you... No homo though.." Jamie said.

I laughed. "Thanks guys.."
