"Okay." my father said. "You take your car, we'll take ours, and we'll just follow your car." Mike and Sarah nodded and quickly went into their black Mustang.

"We'll be going now, I guess." Janice said. I nodded and gave them all a hug. Oscar hugged me the longest, of course.

"Hey, I'll call you all up later. Maybe we can hang out after we settle down. Okay?"

"Okay, see you later, Mal. Love you." Menaderellia and Janice spoke.

"Love you, too." I responded. My dad and I hopped into our van and followed Mike & Sarah's car.

During the ride, I wondered a few things. They said they basically live in a mansion. That means their house must be beautiful. They're really kind. It should be a safe stay. They're old friends with my father. New friends, yay! I can't help but feel super psyched! I am a big fan of big and pretty houses. What I'm not a big fan of is small things, except for small teddy bears and stuff.

I played with my jet black hair for the rest of the ride. I looked outside to see it was now nighttime, and checking my phone, it was 8:14 PM. Mike and Sarah finally stopped at a giantic mansion with a black gate enclosing it in.

"Woah." My dad and I said in unision. We had never stayed in a nice house like this before, nor ever HAD. We were middle-classed when it came to money, we never had this type of luxury!

Mike reached out of the car window to talk to some phone on the wall thingy with a touch screen and suddenly the jet-black gates opened. Mike turned around and motioned us to follow behind them inside to the gate. When we were finally in, we walked out of our van.

"You live here?" I spoke outloud. Sarah giggled out loud and nodded.

"Yes, sweetheart. Here, let me show you inside." she hooked my arm with hers and lead me inside the house. I was shocked to what I saw. It was absolutely incredible. There was a crystal chandelier hanging above from the ceiling. There was a giant arch, and inside of it was a long hallway with beautiful lights and family pictures leading you through. I couldn't help but stare at the pictures, and one stood out to me the most. Matthew. He lived here? This must be his son. Or maybe a family friend? Maybe a nephew, I don't know. But if he lived here, it would be a disaster. I couldn't live here if he did, I've had the biggest crush on him since freshmen year. Every girl has a crush on him, but he always blocks them out. He's really smart and independent, and always ignores me. Anytime I actually talk to him, he glares at me and looks at me in disgust. He's a rude jerk that I like oh-so-much.

When we reached the end-point, I saw a HD flat-screen T.V., leather couches, paintings, more pictures, and every single luxury you could ever think of. How rich where these people?

"Here is the living room, and now I'll be showing you the kitchen." She showed me the kitchen, and it was absolutely beautiful. It had the usual kitchen stuff, but it was so... shiny? I guess that's what you could say.

She then led me up to the stairs. She introduced me the bathrooms, her and Mike's bedroom, and a kid named Michael's. She ushered me quickly, and I don't know why so quickly, to a room where I saw a little boy, I'm guessing Michael, and a--- oh no.

"This is Matthew's room." She introduced. "Matthew, meet Malycia. You know that man your father and I were talking about, Damon? Yeah, well this is her beautiful daughter, and they'll be staying with us for awhile. You might need to share a room with Michael." Matthew looked angry at this point. He stood up, glaring at his own mother and I.

"What?! But, Mom! I need my own privacy! I mean, I love Michael, I do! But I can't stand sharing rooms with people!" I felt bad ..

"Hey, uhm, Sarah. Look, I don't need to get my own room. Matthew can keep his own room, I can just sleep on the couch or something for now." I insisted. I didn't want to make my own crush mad. That would just make him hate me.

"No, no! Matthew needs to get used to it. And you, young lady, need to get used to letting people do good deeds for you if they want to." Matthew scoffed and walked out, looking angry as ever, out of the room, bumping my shoulder with his.

"Thanks alot." he said.

"Hey! Be nice, you knucklehead. She's a guest, you need to treat her nicely." Sarah spoke.

"I don't, I already know her. And she isn't someone I'm fond of." He yelled back in response.

And in that moment, I swear my heart broke a little.
