Ian POV
I am on my way to the mall along with Hazel and Aaron. "Why are you coming along?" Hazel ask me as we get out the car.
Aaron walks beside Hazel and looks at me. "Because I wanted to come along. We are in my car." She lets out a long sigh, "You could have taken us home and we could have come in my car. You didn't have to come along." I roll my eyes, "Don't tell me we're going back to where we started. Me just being a patient and you just being my doctor."
We walk in the first store and start looking for things for Aaron. "We're not friends but we can be acquaintances." I arch my eyebrow, "Acquaintances? After what we've been through you want to be acquaintances?!" Her eyes widen, "Why are you getting loud? I'm grateful for what you did, but I'm not just going to be your friend."
Before I could say anything Aaron interrupts us, "Ms.Hazel you never told me what I can get and what I can't get." Hazel walks away from me and towards Aaron, "You can just call me Hazel. I'm not going to make you call me mom, because I know you'll be uncomfortable with it."
They walk away from me and I start looking for some clothes and shoes. I look around and notice somebody staring at me. We make eye contact and the person walks away. Curiosity getting the best of me and I follow the person.
The person goes through a crowd and I try to follow them, but so many people were in my way I couldn't get through. As I get through the crowd I look around for the person. To my disappointment, I lose sight of them and go back to the store.
Aaron and Hazel come out of the store with a few things. "Where did you go?" I shrug my shoulders at her and walk off towards a shoe store, "Come on Aaron, you need to get a few pairs of shoes." Aaron runs up to me and follows me into the store.
Two hours later
Two hours later and we are done shopping for Aaron. "You can take us home now." Without looking at her, I answer her, "I have one more stop."
Five minutes later I pull up to GameStop. "I'll go in by myself." I walk in and go to the register. "Hello sir, what can I help you with today?" I pull out my wallet, "I would like a PlayStation 4 and a extra remote control." The man nods his head and walks to the back. He comes back two minutes later and scans the game.
I pick up three games and a membership. "I will also like these too." He scans it and tells me the price, "Altogether that will three hundred dollars and twenty-two cents." I swipe my card and he puts all of my things in a bag.
I walk out and head to the car. I hand Aaron the bag, "It's for you, a new system with three whole games, a new controller, and a membership." His eyes widen and look at me and smile, "Thank you so much!! I've never had a game system."
We head back to the apartment, "You gotta have something to play with whenever you're bored." He lets out a soft laugh.
We make it back to the complex in five minutes. On our way up to the apartment, we see Kayla. "Kayla?! What are you doing here?!" Hazel runs up to Kayla and gives her a hug, "I've been here all day helping Owen move."
Hazel arch her eyebrow, "I didn't see you when I left this morning. I would have talked to you then." Kayla shrugs her shoulders as we get in the elevator, "I was probably in Owen apartment." She hits the floor she's going on, "If you want you can come up here with us."
She looks at Hazel and me, "Are y'all getting along now?" I look at Hazel, "Are we?"
"We're just acquaintances." I roll my eyes at her answer and Kayla laughs, "I'll ask Owen if he wants to go up." She walks out of the elevator and we head up to the next floor.
