We eventually arrived in a room that looked like a control room. There were two chairs in the corner of the room, and Ethan placed one in the middle of the room and the other in front of it.
Nathan threw me into one of the chairs and took a seat on the one opposite it. Ethan found a clean space on the wall and leaned against it, crossing his arms.
"Okay, let us start with an easy question Y/N. What organization do you work for?" Nathan asked, staring directly into my E/C eyes.
I rolled my eyes. "You should ask my boss. She will be here soon anyways."
The raven haired man sighed. "True enough. It is not like you or the other people coming will get out of here alive anyways."
"More like you will not." I replied.
"That is not how this works."
"Please. You guys are the criminals. We are the ones bringing you in."
"Oh, we will not be going anywhere." Ethan chimed in.
I laughed. "You sure about that?"
As if on cue, the faint sound of sirens could be heard outside.
"How the hell could you have contacted the police from here?!" Nathan demanded.
"I did not do that. My team must have brought them with them." I answered, smiling to myself.
"Well," Nathan huffed while standing up. "Let us go say hello to them."
He walked around to the back of the chair and roughly grabbed my right arm, pulling me up. Ethan approached me and grabbed my left arm. Then, I limped along as they dragged me back out towards the main area of the abandoned power station.
Ethan then let go of my arm and ran out to where Matthew and Mark were standing, guns aimed at the entrance. A few moments later, Sean, Dan, and Phil walked in, followed by my boss. A smile crept onto my face at their presence.
Gun shots started firing and everyone threw themselves behind objects. The battle continued on for a couple minutes but nothing was really happening. Nathan decided it was time to make a move.
He placed his arm around my throat and dragged me out in the open, placing a gun to my head.
"Stop!" He yelled over the gun shots.
Everything went silent and my team stepped out from their cover. My boss aimed her gun at Nathan, a determined look in her eyes.
"Put your weapons down or I will shoot her." Nathan called to my team.
The green haired man and two Brits looked at my boss, wanting to know their next move.
"Put yours down and we will fight, no weapons." She stated.
"I am not the shot caller here." Nathan smirked, looking over at Mark.
"Alright," Mark said. "Everyone put your weapons down." He then placed his gun on the ground, getting into a fighting stance.
The rest of The Crimson Killers followed his lead, including Nathan. My team then placed their guns on the ground, and my boss was the last one to follow the instruction. Then, all hell broke loose.
Sean charged at Mark, Dan went for Matthew, and Phil ran for Ethan. My boss ran right over to Nathan and I.
"Let her go, then you against me." My boss challenged Nathan.
He let out a laugh. "You think you are so clever. I applaud you."
He then whipped a knife out from his back pocket, released his grip from around my throat, and plunged the knife into her stomach.
