We always take the same train on the way to school, but I knew Madeleine would want to talk to me and I knew it would make me fall even harder, which frankly doesn't seem possible at this point. Anyway, I couldn't let her talk to me because she deserves more, but I just really hope she doesn't think she did anything wrong. I was hoping she would just think I was running late, but I knew it would become apparent when I skipped lunch. It was about to be Mr. F's class and I didn't know how to handle it. I thought maybe he wouldn't make us pair up and do the project today, but sure enough he did. I knew the only way to keep Madeleine away was to act like the asshole she thought I would be and though it hurt to see her get more upset each time something rude came out of my mouth, I knew it was worth it to insure she would have a happy life someday with somebody else. I told her I couldn't work on the project after school because I had practice and that was the truth. After class ended I just couldn't get her out of my mind. Even on the field she was haunting me and even couch noticed. He said, "Boy, I don't know what is on your mind but you need to fix it before Friday's big game." I tried and tried really hard to get her out of my head, but it was no use. Soon the urge became to strong and I had to see her, but I wondered if she was made at me from before. I decided tomorrow I would break the boundaries this one time just to see if she was mad or sad. I couldn't stand the thought to think that I could've made her cry or upset. I couldn't stand not talking to her. I couldn't stand anything that had to do with not being around her. Then, I started to question if what I was doing was really the best.
