Chapter 10

Varun's POV

The door is suddenly knocked vigorously. I open to see Shraddha with worry evident all over her face and all the other girls behind her.

"Where's Alu?" They barge in.

"I'm here." Alia walks into the living room. "See Varun I told you they'd all turn up."

"What's going on? Shraddha said something happened to you!" Jacqueline says confused.

"That's what Varun said on the phone but Alu looks fine."

"All of you take a seat." Alia says.

They all sit down.

"I have some news for you all..." Alia begins.

"Good or bad?" Taapsee asks.

"Please don't say bad!" Parineeti exclaims.

"Guys don't think negative!" Kriti states.

"Well tell us!" Shraddha and Jacqueline say together.

"I'm....pregnant." Alia smiles. For some reason the room is dead silent. None of them utter a word and just exchange looks.

"Girls?" I ask.

"OMG CONGRATULATIONS!!" They all exclaim with huge smiles. They hug both me and Alia.

Shraddha hits my arm. "Why did you say something's happened to her?! You scared the hell out of me!"

"Owww sorry it was all Alia's plan."

"Congratulations Varun!" She hugs me.

"She called us all crying you know." Jacqueline giggles.

"Congratulations Mum to be!" Shraddha squeals and hugs Alia tightly.

I notice something and whisper in Alia's ear and she bursts into laughter.

"What's so funny?" The girls ask.

"You all came in your pyjamas." We laugh.

"Excuse me it's Sunday what to do you expect?" They retort.

"Guys soon there will be a little Alia or Varun running around." Jacqueline says excitedly.

Shraddha's POV

My phone suddenly rings. I answer it.

"Hello."

"Hey baby." It's Sidharth.

"You woke up late didn't you?" I ask.

"How did you know?"

"Because I rang you when I woke up, you didn't answer." I smirk.

"I overslept. Anyway meet me at Nando's for 1." He says

"Okay." I end the call.

I turn around to see everyone looking at me. "Was that Sidharth?" They ask.

I blush. "Yeah."
