Paw Patrol: Marshall's Surprised Birthday Week (MarshallxEverest Story)

Planning Marshall's party

December 23rd,
It was a cold afternoon and the pups were playing frisbee, except Marshall.

Marshall decided to stay in Ryder's room to sleep in cuz his leg was physically killing him. He knew he had to tell Ryder but he just...couldn't.

Ryder was leaning against the railing and looked upon Adventure Bay when he suddenly got an idea. He took out his phone and pressed the secret button and called all the pups except Marshall.

The pups all came as soon as possible because there were no crashes or anything from Marshall.

Thry jumped out the elevator and into their spots but Everest was in Marshall's spot.

"Ready for action Ryder sir!" Chase said boldly

"Thanks for coming but I actually want to talk to you about Marshall" Ryder said and walked up to the pups

The pups looked at Ryder in concern and fear for their favorite Dalmatian.

"What's the matter with Marshall Ryder sir, is he alright" Chase asked concern for his best friend

"Well there's good news and bad news, which do you want to here first?"

"The bad news please" Rocky said

"Well yesterday after you guys left from dinner, Marshall didn't eat any of his food because he was tired. I carried him to his pup house but he told me that he wanted to sleep in my room because he's been having nightmares alot. So I let him sleep in my room for the night and thrn he told me how he has to keep everyone happy even though he's under alot of stressthis week with the jobs. I conforted him and we fell asleep" Ryder finished

The pups were all shocked at what they just heard. They looked down and Rubble and Zuma started to even tear up while the rest were worried sick.

Ryder looked at the pups and softly smiled "I know pups, he's been through alot and that's why we're throwing him a party"

The pups shot their heads up and looked at Ryder "A party? That's awesome! And Marshall's birthday is this week" exclamied Everest

"Thats right Everest, but we'll need alot of help from everyone. Ok, here's what I want you all to do. Chase and Rubble, I need you to hand out invitations around the whole Adventure Bay"

"Chase is on the case Ryder sir!" Chase said

"Rubble on the double!" Rubble said

"Skye, I need you to send some invitations to Tracker and Carlos and some to Marshall's monkey friends"

"This pups gotta fly!" Skye said and did a flip

"Rocky and Everest, I need you to help plan and decorate the lookout for Marshall's birthday"

"Green means go!" Rocky said

"Ice or hail, Everest won't fail!" Everest said

"Ok, so we start this on Christmas Eve alright pups?" Ryder asked

"Yes Ryder" the pups said in unison

"Good, now you guys go wake up Marshall in my room so he can eat alright" Ryder said

"Got it Ryder" the pups said and ran to Ryder's room

The pups reached Ryder's door and Chase slowly opened the door and they all walked in.

They all jumped on the bed and surrounded the sleeping dalmatian.

"So, who wanna wake him up?" quietly asked Skye

"Well that's Chase's job, go ahead Chase" whispered Rocky

Chase looked at his best friend and signed "Ok, fine. Marshall! It's time for breakfast!"

As soon as Chase said that, Marshall shot open his eyes and sat up. He looked around him and saw the pups in their uniform.

"Hey pups, are we going on a mission?" Marshall asked

"No no, we just got called by Wydew by accident" Zuma said

"Oh ok, well lets get some breakfast, I'm starving" Marshall said and the pups giggled

But what Marshall didn't say was that he had another nightmare and it was terrifying to even live.

On by one the pups jumped off the bed and walked out the room. Now there was only Chase and Marshall still sitting on the bed.

"How ya doin buddy" Chase asked softly

"I'm fine, I guess Ryder told you guys about last night huh" Marshall said and lowered his head

"Yeah, we're worried about tou buddy. Please just come to me when you have a problem ok? I dont want to see you sad Marshall" Chase said and hugged Marshall

Marshall smiled weakly and hugged Chase back "Thanks Chase, your the best of a best friend I ever had"

Chase chuckled and let go of the hug "Thanks, now lets go and eat breakfast" and he jumped off the bed and waited for Marshall at the door

Marshall slowly climbed down the bed and tried not to limped to the door which caught Chase's attention.

"Um Marshall? Is your leg ok?" Chase asked

"Oh yeah, I'm fine. I accidentally hit it on the door when I went to the bathroom. It still sore" Marshall lied

Chase smiled and lifted Marshall on his back "Well I'm not letting you walk with a sore leg, c'mon"

Chase carried Marshall to the elevator and they rode it back do to the entrance of the lookout and walked in the kitchen. They saw the pups eating their breakfast and Ryder eating his.

Chase lightly slide Marshall to his bowl and went to go eat his.

"Yo Mawshall dude, awe you ok?" Zuma said

"Me? Oh I'm fine, I just pumped into the door when I went to the bathroom. My leg is just sore that's all but thanks for the support Zuma" Marshall said

Zuma smiled and walked back to his food. Marshall signed, he hated lying to his love ones and he usually doesn't hate anything.

He looked at the pups joyfully eating and Ryder doing the same. He looked at his still full bowl of pup food and pushed it away.

"Um, Ryder? I'll be right back, I have to take a walk" Marshall said and ran out before anyone could say anything

Marshall went into his pup house and grabbed his air pup suit and put it on. He walked  back outside and sat at the rim of the lookout, looking at the sun rise in the horizon.

Marshall signed "I'll fly up to Jakes mountain and let all of this out of my chest"

"Ruff ruff, jets" Marshall said in a low voice and his jets came out

He started his jets and flew away from the lookout.

Meanwhile, Ryder and the pups were looking for Marshall in the lookout when Ryder heard jets starting.

"Oh no, Marshall!" Ryder yelled and ran to the entrance of the lookout

He had made it just in time to see Marshall fly away. He couldn't call out to Marshall because he was to far.

Ryder quickly called Marshall on his pup pad and Marshall's face poped up.

"Marshall, are you alright? Where are you going?" Ryder asked with smphany

"Hi Ryder, I'm alright. I just needed to get some time on my own so please give me my space ok? I'm going to Jakes mountain by the way" Marshall replied

"Alright, you can be gone as long as you want ok, just let me know when your coming home ok?" Ryder said

"Ok Ryder, Marshall out" and Marshall ended the call

Ryder looked over AdventureBay and whispered "Be careful Marshall"
