December 24th,
It was Chirstmas eve and everyone was decorating and setting up for the chirstmas party tonight.
At the lookout, Ryder and the pups were waiting for Tracker and Carlos to arrive so they can help with the decorations.
Ryder had already took Marshall to Katie's and she said that all he needed was some bandges and he'll be fine but he would have to stay off his leg for about three days.
"I can't wait to meet Tracker, he sounds like a fun guy" Everest smiled
"Oh he is, he can speak Spanish to" Marshall added
"Really! I thought I was the only one who did" Everest said and the pups gasp
"Since when have you spoken Spanish?" Chase asked
"No sé, lo aprendí en algún lado cuando estaba con Jake, aparentemente algunos campistas hablaban español" Everest said
Everyone looked at her dumbfounded and surprised expression on their face.
"What did you say?" Rubble asked, breaking the silence
"Oh, I said that I don't know, learned it somewhere when I was with Jake. Apparently some campers spoke spanish" Everest explained
"Ooohh" they all replied when they heard a horn from ahead. They looked at the drive way and saw Carlos and Tracker driving up.
"Tracker! Carlos!" the pups yelled and ran to them
"Hey pups, hey Ryder" Carlos said and he and Tracker went beside Ryder and Everest
"Hey Tracker, hey Carlos. This is Everest, our mountain and snow pup" Ryder introduced
"Hi" Carlos said and waved
"Hola amigo" Tracker smiled
"Hola!" Everest smiled back
"You know spanish too? Cool" Teacker exclaimed making Everest giggle
Marshall was watching them talk happily to each other and became sad. A million and one questions popped up in his mind making him even sadder.
Chase saw the sad look on Marshall's face and talked to him.
"Hey Marshall, can I talk to you in private?" Chase asked in concern
"Y-yeah, sure" Marshall said and they both walked in the lookout, well Marshall limped
When they got in, they sat on the pillows infront of the tv and faced on another.
"Hey buddy, you doing ok?" Chase said in concern
"Me? Oh yeah, I'm super! Just can't wait til we decorate" Marshall faked smiled
"Marshall, I'm your best friend, tell me what's wrong. Please" Chase pleaded
Marshall signed"Fine, I'm just sad that Everest might like Tracker more then me"
Chase shook his head"Of course she couldn't bud, they're just friends. Besides, they just met each other"
"Yeah, your right. Thanks Chase, that's why your my best friend" Marshall smiled and high- pawed Chase.
"No problem" Chase smiled back
"But how are you and Skye going? Make a move yet?" Marshall smirked and Chase blushed lightly
"Well...uh...no, not yet but I want to tell her today" Chase said
"Really?! That's awesome! You can tell her at the Christmas party tonight and I'll help you" Marshall said with excitement
