Redguard: hell

chapter 6:first day

I woke up at 6:55, normally people would just press snooze. I'm not normal. I got dressed but I tried to smexy my uniform up by rolling up my jumper to outline my figure wearing thigh high sheer socks and my hair is waving down past my shoulders . Ok, I'm ready I think. Mum walks out of her room rocking a pastel blue blouse under a black suit top with a pencil skirt. "morning darling can you do me a favour and write me down a shopping list while your eating breakfast I need to rush off to work, love you!" She asks walking down the stairs. I nod and start to walk behind her, she grabs the keys "Have a nice day at school lovely," My mum says kissing me on the forehead. I smile and wave as she walks to the car. I wrote down everything we needed while chomping away at my cereal.

It was 7:30 so I set off for school, I know my way round there now since Eric has walked me past it multiple times. I arrived there at 7:40, I pushed past the crowds to my form room surprisingly it was empty except from the teacher "Hi you must be Monika I'm Mr Tye!" he wore a rainbow tie and his hair was in a man bun "if you just wait here until the class arrives, They are ecstatic to meet you." Mr Tye walked out the class leaving me alone. The students walk in one by one murmuring in groups both smiling and sighing. The bell rang and a familiar student walked in "veronica?" I said "Whoa are you the new girl cant believe we are in the same form tell you what ill be your buddy show you how things work round here, Kay?!" Veronica seemed perky as always as she sat down in the middle of the class room. The bell rang, Mr Tye walked in and got ready. He peered around the room "are they late again?" sir said while three girls walk in wearing brightly coloured jumpers. "your excuse?" asked Mr Tye, "Cournty wasn't feeling well so we went to services and they gave her meds," said the one in red while the others (in green and blue) nodded and walked to their seats. "anyway class as you have seen we have a new student would you like to introduce yourself?" I step forward "uhm Hi I'm Monika spelt with a k and I've moved here from Brighton!" The class murmured while the door swung open "ye I'm late don't care!" A certain brown curly haired male face lit up when he saw me. "Mr Maxwell how convenient for you to join us!" Mr Tye spoke in a sarcastic voice "Ye whatever Monika what are you doing here?" I stood panicking while the class was intrigued with the story "Eric, I told you that I was transferring to this school." He stared looking at the back of his mind for any trace of memory of when I talked to him about school. The bell rang after getting settled into the form.

First period: maths

Miss Pars was our maths teacher since I was in top maths I didn't know anyone so I just sat at the back of the class next to the window. I expected to be alone but an attractive boy pulled up a chair next to me, "Hi," he said nervously, I nodded in recognition "I'm Flynn and you?" Flynn looked at me with nervous eyes "Monika.." I answered bluntly. Looking back to him his eyes struck through my heart and his straight blond bangs slicked back in a quiff and his muscled body under the translucent polo shirt. "Alright everybody! Who is ready for algebra?" Miss pars bursted out with a fake smile on her face. The whole class groaned and we started equations

Second period: English

I went through the same system with seating it was Deja vu since Flynn sat next to me again but Eric was in my English. He sat on the seat in front of us occasionally staring back; when he did Flynn flirted and snared back at Eric. Mr. Potter was the English teacher he was very nice and dramatic. "There's a rumour spreading around that Mr. Potter and Mr. Tye are seeing each other out of school," Whispered Flynn "what?" I replied. "Ok! Monika can you tell me what scene and act Shakespeare famous quote 'To be or not be'  is in?" Interrupting, Mr potter asked me a question out of the blue. Without thinking or even looking at my book for help I said "Act three scene one. When Ophelia is trying to get the attention of Hamlet." The whole classed turned and stared. "How did you know that we haven't even gone through it yet?" He questioned "I just knew it." I answered bluntly. Everyone was amazed by their faces I just shrugged it off and carried on writing.

At break I blurted everything that happened to veronica she was like my best friend. "WAIT FLYNN BAKER. OH MY GOD MONIKA YOU HAVE BEEN NOTICED BY THE HOTTEST BOY ON CAMPUS!" Her high pitched voice scared me "YOU  are soooo lucky THAT THE TWO HOTTEST GUYS IN REDGUARD WANTS YOU." I laughed and shrugged it off while walking to next class. "You'll haft to be careful around Flynn !" Veronica continued "If Heather finds out about this you're dead meat!" She took me by surprise "Heather?"  "Heather Prescott, Honey you've got a lot to learn." Veronica continued to tell me about the three Queens of Redguard.

Courtney Campell: Giant Party girl, Always hungover, Rich and smart. She doesn't really like Heather that much but will give up anything to have popularity. You'll mostly see her with heather if not she's in the library with the yearbook or studying. Known for wearing a Jasmine jumper.

Allison Mayweather: The cliche dumb girl, stuck to social media -saying nothing mean but always uploading, She would never betray Heather because she loves the popularity, You'll normally see her with Heather or with her boyfriend, Drake. If not, in the cafertiria at the Starbucks. Known for wearing a lemon yellow jumper.

Heather prescott: Massive Drama queen, guy hopper but always going back to Flynn. The Ruler or Redguard everyone wants to be like her. You'll always see her with her squad or with her boyfriend-depends if she's with Flynn or not. So fake and plastic she makes barbie jealous. Known for wearing a crimson red jumper matching her lipstick.

Third period:Geography

Most of the form was in my class including the mean girls. Unfortunately, the three girl sat behind me, "So you're the new girl huh I'm Heather," She spoke calmly "and these are Courtney and allison." The other two smiled and waved "Where is the teacher?" I asked looking around "Mr. Burr never shows up, shame he's cute," Allison started sighing in delight "Allison he is 22 and our teacher!" sceamed Courtney in disgust "It's only eight years." sighed Allison "okay you two quit it! Mr.burr Hardly shows up and is always late," I nodded. Since I had nothing to do I just texted and talked to Heather.

Fourth period: Drama

I walked into the drama building and bumped into Flynn "Oh I'm sorry," He said holding his hand out "Im ok don't worry." I said about to take his hand until I remembered what veronica said 'be careful around Flynn if Heather finds out you are dead meat' I stand up by myself and walk past Flynn without saying another word or looking back. After I got changed I entered the drama room. It was huge With a giant stage and a props box and everything you would need to be an actor. Mrs. Krooke was our drama teacher, she wasn't strict but had a short temper and shouted a lot. Heather was in my class and so was Flynn. I stayed away from them for the whole lesson and stayed with veronica until we got our tasks "okay, now get in pairs same gender," I obviously went I with veronica while Heather argued with the teacher about going with Flynn while he partnered with Eric. "look Heather If you don't want to partner up with someone then sit down and shut up!" Mrs. Krooke snapped. Heather scoffed and walked out of the room, "sorry about that class, now you and you together and..." She pointed at individual pairs and joined with other groups until me, Veronica, Eric and Flynn were left. "okay now since you are all paired up learn this play, Okay now go on then while I speak to miss Prescott!" Mrs. Krooke walked out and we started practicing the boys fought over who played the main guy but in the end Flynn got the part. The story was about a princess who falls in love with one of her servants. I got the role as the princess, veronica got the role of the best friend and Eric got the villain. After half and hour on practicing separate groups went on the stage and performed. We were last and this is how it went.
