Chapter 17: Lust and loss

I was in my dressing room re reading the lines over and over again just in case I didn't forget them, Eric rung me midway through me rehearsing my songs,

"Yello!"

"Monika, I Might be late, I have- some family business to take care of."

"Oh what's happened," i heard some grunts at the other end of the line but he just ended the call. I shrugged it off and carried on practising my songs. A stage manager walked in "5 minuets to curtain, break a leg," He clicked his tongue and winked, I was really panicking when I heard the roll of curtains. 

"Hello, my name is Reynard, I have love and lost for I have killed my angel," Akira had a microphone clipped onto his messy bangs and a small sparkle in his cheeks. "I had a lonely childhood, my mother died my father left and I was left alone. Then, I met a girl  my world."  Akira beckoned to me as a sign for me walk forward. We started our duet, "I met you I loved you and I want you." I started my monologue "I loved him I wanted him! But my parents had other plans. And that's where we start!" I looked and Akira and he ran at me insisting that I run away.

Time skip

Me and Flynn were standing centre stage, "I do," we both said in unison and we did a small peck of a kiss. We had to stand still while Akira started his next line "I, can't let this happen. She is my everything. I need her she can't go like that." He finished and stomped away.

Time skip

 "Why. Oh my god is he.. is he dead?" Akira grabbed my hands "Vero, I did this for you. I love you. And for that I need you to keep you by my side all the time!" My hands were tied behind me and I started my song

I had to pretend to be dead showing that I had a knife in my stomach

"Oh my God! 'No! 'Veronica'!

The curtains drew and I got up and hugged Akira and Flynn for they did such a good job. We did our bows and left back to our dressing rooms. When me, Akira and Flynn went to the dorms  (Flynn was staying at Akira's) I got a phone call off Veronica 

"Hey Veronica, you alright?"

"Yeah its just that."

I couldn't believe what she said, I had tears in my eyes and A giant knot in my throat

"Monika what happened?" Asked the males 

"That was veronica."

"Heather's dead..."
