Yuuri blushes as he stares at the beautiful boy on his computer screen. Is he serious? No. He can't be. Viktor wouldn't want to be with someone like him. Yuuri buries his face in his arms, not saying a word.

Viktor fears he might have upset this adorable boy. Anxiety rushes down his spine as he waits for Yuuri to say something. Anything. The seconds tick by, seeming to last an eternity each. Finally, Viktor decides to speak.

"Did I make you uncomfortable? I didn't mean to. I'm sorry." He apologizes for speaking the truth. Viktor's words were as true as his heart. Nevertheless, Yuuri's head stays covered.

"Why me?" His voice is so small, and muffled by his arms, that Viktor nearly mistakes it for his imagination.

"Why you? What do you mean? You're amazing and adorable and witty and talented and adorable. How could I not fall for you?"

"Don't say it like that. Don't say it like it's true." His voice is once again muffled by his arms. How can Viktor say such a thing to him? It hurts him even more knowing that it isn't true.

"Yuuri, I'm not lying." Viktor is getting tired of staring at Yuuri's arms. He wants to see his adorable face. "Can you uncover your face? I want to see you again." Yuuri moves his arms from in front of his face. The utter look of disappointment in those chocolate eyes hits Viktor harder than a truck ever could.

"Don't look like that. I don't want you to be sad. Ever. Yuuri, I know I've only known you for a few weeks, but it's felt like a lifetime. It might be too early to say this, but I'm taken with you Yuuri Katsuki." Viktor doesn't know what to do. All he does is stare. Stares at the adorable boy until his eyes begin to burn from the light of the computer screen. Yuuri's eyes look off somewhere Viktor might never know.

"What do you expect me to say?" His eyes look back to Viktor, sparkling in a way that could mean hope, or tears.

"I don't expect you to say anything. I hoped you would say something along the lines of yes or any of its synonyms." There it is. His smile. A smile on this adorable boy's face. Yuuri looks at Viktor, at the beautiful boy displayed on his screen, and feels something in his chest tug. He wants to say yes, but he doesn't want Viktor to be the one he says it to. Viktor deserves better than him. If only the damn boy knew it.

"I-I don't think I can say yes." Viktor feels all help fade him. He's lost him. He's lost this adorable, witty, talented boy. Viktor opens his mouth to speak, but is cut off as Yuuri himself speaks quickly.

"But I'm willing to say okay."
