Yuuri buries his face in Viktor's neck, arms wrapped around him. A breath of his scent is like a breath of fresh air. It clears Yuuri's mind of all the doubts plaguing him. His next breath is interrupted by a sob. Before he knows it, he's crying into Viktor's shoulder.
"Hey, baby? Why are you crying?" God, his voice. That accent that sent a thrill through his stomach. Viktor pulls away the slightest, tilting Yuuri's head with the pads of his fingers. He's adorable. How did Viktor live with just video calls and text messages?
"Y-you're here. You're actually here." His voice is just a whisper, one that could easily be lost in the babble of the crowd around them, but Viktor hears it. He hears it and runs his fingers through Yuuri's hair. God, how did he live without this? Without the ability to touch his soft skin? To run his fingers through his soft hair? To kiss his plump lips?
That reminds Viktor, of something he's been wanting to do for a long time.
Yuuri feels himself being pulled in, but doesn't try to escape the current. If Viktor were a storm, he'd gladly allow himself to be swallowed up. As their lips touch, Yuuri feels a chill rush down his spine. As if cold water had been dumped down his back.
After a few moments, both of them come up for air. Viktor runs his thumb over Yuuri's cheek, smiling down at him.
It's at this moment that both of them realize how far they have gone. It seems like yesterday, that Viktor messaged him. Everything has happened so fast. Almost as if it's destiny.
Some might not believe in destiny, and in fate. But this is theirs. To be together. Their hearts had reached over oceans and continents. Far enough, to reach each other.
And that's far enough for them.
The end.
