The sun is bright as it streams in through the open car window. Yuuri doesn't glance at his mom. He doesn't want to. He's still angry at her for dragging him out of his safe place. Hiroko takes notice of this.
"Yuuri, don't pout like a child. You're in college, you have to understand that I'm doing this for your own good." Yuuri doesn't respond. He only sighs, and continues looking out his window. Hiroko remains quiet, focusing instead on driving.
It isn't until a few minutes pass that Yuuri realizes where they are.
"Wait. Why are we going toward the airport?" He looks at his mom this time. Hiroko seems pleased, smiling slightly.
"Oh, I didn't tell you? We have a visitor coming. They booked a room at the onsen and I thought we'd pick them up. They're pretty important so don't be rude to them. It'll give us a bad name." Yuuri turns back toward the window, angry once again.
"So you brought me with you to meet someone? Why? It won't do anything for me to be there," Yuuri says angrily. He wants to hit something. He wants to throw himself from this moving car. He wants to just escape the inevitable fate of meeting new people.
"Stop whining. I think you'll like them." Hiroko pulls into the airport parking lot, and turns off the car.
