Chapter 35 : Tears Of Joy

Princess Sam of the elven Kingdom was ushered by the council of elders to a room away from all the elves who were cheering and some who was making wolf whistles at Princess Sam. Princess Sam of the elven Kingdom together with her companions were brought to another room that looks like a giant tree that can be opened up and inside the tree it was like a normal brick room with wooden floors.

"It's amazing !", Princess Sam of the elven Kingdom shouted out in amazement seeing the room from the inside.

There was a long wooden oval table in the centre of the room and many chairs. It looked like a meeting room except everything was green, the brick walls was covered with shining green moss which seems to provide light in the room. And the windows in the room looks out to the green forest and provides fresh air that flows into the room. Everything was beautiful and green.

"Glad you liked it.", one of the male elf elders spoke out.

"Please take a seat all of you.", the female elf elder spoke out as she herself and the other members of the council of elders took a seat at the oval table.

Princess Sam of the elven Kingdom took a seat with Mary on her left and Sissy Potter on her right. Her two fierce female protectors were still with her. The rest of her group sat next to her left and right. While the members of the council of elders sat opposite Princess Sam of the elven Kingdom and her companions. Gerald sat in between the council of elders and Princess Sam of the elven Kingdom.

"Let's begin.", The male elf elder spoke out.

"Is there anything you want to ask us  first ?", the female elf elder asked.

"Yes ! I heard that elves specialize in magic that causes elves to grow older, I believe it was called forced growth. I am wondering if elves have magic that can change their gender like for say female to male ?", Princess Sam of the elven Kingdom said with a sweet smile.

"Um. I have never heard of such a magic if it exists.", The male elf elder said seriously.

"I have heard that forced growth was a magic handed down to us by a Goddess whose power rivaled that of the Creation God. But no such magic exist for change in gender.", the female elf elder spoke seriously.

"I have heard that once a gender has been assigned by the Creation God, it is impossible to change your gender by any means possible.", another male elf elder spoke out seriously.

"I think to change a person's gender is impossible.", another female elf elder spoke out.

There were murmurs of agreement from all the elves of the elder council.

"Is that so....", Princess Sam of the elven Kingdom said as tears streamed down her face and she smiled a big smile.

"Oh, Princess Samantha is so happy that she is crying after listening to us about our elven heritage and magic.", the male elf elder whispered to the female elf elder.

"Yes, you are right, I can see tears of joy coming out from Princess Samantha, she must be so happy we are giving her our long lost elven knowledge.", the female elder whispered back to the male elf elder.

Princess Sam of the Elven Kingdom's POV

Wow ! This room is so beautiful. Right now is not the time to be distracted. I need to ask them about their magic. There, we are all seated. Oh, they asked me to ask a question. Alright, here goes nothing. Time to get some answers. Can I become a man again ? Huh ! No ! Impossible ! I am stuck as a female forever ! Arghh ! I can't cry ! I can't cry ! I am a manly man ! Not a girly girl ! No ! Tears are flowing out from my face. I am so sad ! I can't show it ! Wait ! I will smile. Yes, I will smile. Give them all a big smile ! But tears are still flowing down my face. I am so sad.

As the council of elders concluded it was impossible to change your gender, there were high fives and fist pumps from Princess Sam of the elven Kingdom's companions. Even Mary and Sissy Potter smiled and did a high five between them. While Princess Sam of the elven Kingdom's tears rolled down her face while she smiled all the time. Every single council of elders assumed that they were tears of joy and they were so touched by Princess Sam that they liked her even more than before.

As they talked further, suddenly an elven guard appeared before the council of elders.

"Elders ! We have an emergency. Our scout says a Goblin General with a goblin army of ten thousand is approaching our kingdom !", The elven guard spoke loudly so all the council of elders could hear.

"Hmm.... not to worry, we still have our defense. Perhaps Princess Samantha and her friends would like to see our much vaunted defense against outsiders.", a male elf elder spoke out.

"Yes. That would be nice.", Princess Sam of the elven Kingdom said sweetly as her tears dried up.

Princess Sam of the elven Kingdom and her companions followed the council of elders as they led them to what appears to be a castle wall but it was made of trees and stone bound together into something beautiful. On top of this castle wall made of trees and stone they could see an army of ten thousand goblins approaching them. The Goblin army was led by a Goblin General but he and the Goblin army looked dejected. As they marched towards the elven Kingdom, one of the male elf elder took a stick and hit a golden bell, but no sound could be heard, you could only see the bell shaking as if it was ringing.

Suddenly from the sky a ray of light like a laser descended down upon the Goblin army, scorching them into burnt blackened creatures. The light was like a powerful laser from the Star Wars' Death Star as it struck the Goblin army again and again. Soon the ground was burned black and there was no goblin left alive, they were all burnt into a black crisp. Even the ground had darkened to the color of black and no living being could be seen where the ray of light hit. Everything touched by this ray of light was burned into a cinder.

"Oh, my !", Princess Sam of the elven Kingdom cried out as she covered her mouth. Princess Sam had never seen something so horrible before, no wonder no one has ever successfully invaded the elven Kingdom. Their defense was incredible. No one, nothing could survive this.

It was not just Princess Sam that was shocked by this spectacle but all her companions including Sissy Potter and Jack were shocked by such a terrible weapon. In fact Prince John and Prince Jules took note that the Kingdom of Flowers needed to make the elven Kingdom into a friend lest their weapon is turned towards the Kingdom of Flowers. Prince John and Prince Jules thought the best way to forge a friendship with the elves was to marry the elf Princess, Princess Sam, they both smiled at the thought of marriage to Princess Sam.

Gerald the elf smiled proudly that he was an elf and that the elven Kingdom had such a weapon.

Once the onslaught was finished. A group of elves left the protection of the elven walls and gates and went out. This group of elves used their light magic to heal the forest and cover the destruction caused by their weapon. Slowly the forest began to grow back to how it was originally covering the burnt remains of the Goblin army.

"No wonder there were never any sign of battles being fought...", Jack murmured to himself as he saw the scene from the high wall of the elven Kingdom.
