starstruck ♡ changlix (slow updates)

   the morning rolled around quickly, as changbin sprung out of bed as soon as he woke up to see if felix was awake. he rushed downstairs, only to see felix, snuggled in a light blue sweater that was way too big for him, baggy black pajama pants, & his hair all messy as he sat on the couch. the sunlight shining in from the window illuminated his features so nicely, making him look even more soft & pure.

   "good morning," changbin couldn't help but smile as the younger noticed him walking over, his eyes lighting up. "morning!" felix giggled, his heartbeat quickening as changbin sat down next to him. there it is again.

   felix's heartbeat would always speed up when he was with changbin, simply because he adored him so much. he loved spending time with him, & he made him so happy. well, that & that felix did have an enormous crush on the darker haired.

   "how'd you sleep?" changbin asked, resting a hand softly on felix's lower thigh, near his knee. this, of course, flustered felix greatly, as he replied, "g-good, how about you?"

   changbin chuckled quietly, aware that he had flustered felix. "good as well," changbin replied, slowly taking his hand away. "are the others up?" changbin asked, seeing it was still pretty early. "just jisung & hyunjin, but they're both in their rooms. i wanted to wait for you to get up," felix smiled shyly, fidgeting with his sleeves that fell over his hands. changbin felt his heart swell, as he took one of felix's sweater pawed hands in his.

   "you're so adorable," changbin blurted out, no longer able to contain himself. felix let out a small squeal, bringing his sweater paws to cover his face, not being able to contain himself either. "n-no i'm not!" he shook his head. "yes, you are! have you even seen yourself?" changbin beamed, slowly taking felix's hands away from his face.

   he stared at the younger, watching as his cheeks flushed bright red & his eyes began to sparkle. now's your chance. you can do this.

   "felix, um, about last night..." changbin sighed, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "yes, hyung?" felix cocked his head to the side slightly, his curiosity making him look even cuter. "remember when i said i had fun when we went to lunch?" changbin reflected, earning a nod from felix. "well... i did have fun, but, that's not what i wanted to tell you yesterday," changbin huffed, glancing around the room.

   "oh, well... what was it you wanted to tell me, hyung?" felix asked, his heart rate quickening. there it is, yet again.

   changbin took a deep breath, managing to look into felix's beautiful brown eyes. alright, here goes nothing. "lix... i-i've been wanting to tell you this for a while, but i could never build up the courage to, but recently the urge has been nearly impossible to fight, & i can't keep it to myself any longer. felix, i-i like you. not just like, how friends like each other, the other like. the like where every time you talk to me or hang out with me or smile at me or even look at me, my heart skips a beat. i've liked you ever since we met, i've just been too afraid to tell you. afraid that you'd hate me, or not like me back, or judge me, but, i'm not as afraid of that now. so... yeah, i like you, lix. a lot." changbin took a shaky breath after finishing, looking up briefly to see the look on felix's face.

   his mouth gaped open, his eyes wide & sparkly. changbin shared an anxious smile, hopeful that this was a good sign. felix's lips formed into a huge smile, his face still prominent with the blush, but even darker now.

   "binnie hyung, i-i've liked you like that since we met, too," felix couldn't believe it. he was so, so happy. waves of relief & pure joy rolled through both of the boys, as they just stared into each other's eyes, smiling genuine smiles. "lix, can i-"

it was like felix read changbin's mind. cutting changbin off, felix closed the gap between their lips, their lips fitting perfectly together. felix smiled into the kiss as changbin rested one of his hands on the side of felix's face. they pulled away for air after a few seconds, an aura of pure bliss around them. they were both still smiling as they put their foreheads together, both of the boys left barely believing what had just happened.
