   "baby," changbin knocked on the door of the younger, running a hand through his hair anxiously. no response, however he knew felix was in there.

   "baby," changbin knocked again, nervous out of his mind. ever since he came home, felix was acting very weird. after they shared a hug when changbin got home, felix ran up to his room & locked himself in there, not saying a word to anyone. not even changbin.

   "please open up my love, i- just, please," changbin sighed, a bit of shakiness in his voice. changbin felt a lump forming in his throat- he was beyond worried. he hadn't felt this guilty since felix got eliminated. that was such a terrible time for all the boys, especially felix & changbin. they missed each other so much. felix & changbin were barely themselves without each other, that's how much they needed one another. changbin knocked on the door once more, but more gentle this time.

   "please, felix," his dark eyes blurred with tears as he hung his head. within a few seconds, the door opened quite slowly, revealing the younger, his face blotchy & eyes red. changbin felt his heart shatter as he saw his boyfriend so upset.

   "baby, what's wrong?" changbin stepped closer to the blonde, cupping his face in his hands. felix teared up, almost instantly breaking eye contact with his lover. "no, my love," changbin pulled the younger into his arms, wrapping his arms around him tightly. the two just stayed like that for a minute as tears rolled down felix's face, falling onto changbin's shirt. once the two pulled apart, changbin sat down on felix's bed.

   "c'mere my love," he said softly as felix sat next to the older, still refusing eye contact. "sweetie, what happened?" changbin took felix's hands in his & turned to face him, his face full of worry. "y-you'll think it's stupid," felix muttered, frowning.

   "lix, i can promise you that no matter what it is, i will not make fun of you for it or think it's stupid," with this, felix looked up, his big brown eyes filled with trust & a sense of safety, which made changbin happy that felix was so comfortable with him.

   "i-i thought that...i thought you started to like jeongin more than you like m-me, a-and i got worried that you'd- t-that you'd leave me." felix sighed, his voice cracking. his sweater pawed hands flew up to his face, not wanting to have to see his boyfriend's reaction. changbin almost laughed at how absurd that statement was, but fought it back so his baby wouldn't think he was laughing at him. changbin grabbed felix's hands gently, pulling them away from his face.

   "lix, that is so far from the truth, & i am so sorry that my actions made you think like that, but love, you are my only love. i love you & only you," in that moment, felix felt his whole face heat up as changbin's eyes widened, realized what he had just said. he had finally told him, though it was an accident.

   "oh my god, i'm sorry, i-" changbin started, but before he could finish, felix leaned forward, kissing changbin quickly. "i love you too, babe," felix giggled, resting his forehead against the older's. changbin grinned, feeling the weight of the whole world leave his shoulders. he had finally said it. both boys had been longing to tell each other for the longest time, & now felt like they could conquer anything in the world now that they had. they made each other better people. the universe says that it takes years to find your soulmate, but in just nearly a year, lee felix & seo changbin had found theirs.
