♡ tw - anxiety ♡

   felix stared out his room window, his head resting against his palm as he watched the rain fall gently. changbin had left to go to the store with chan, minho, & jeongin. felix was missing him, although he'd only been gone for a half hour.

"felix hyung, it's been a half hour & you haven't left the window once. c'mon, he's gonna come back soon." seungmin sighed, walking into their shared room, resting his hand on the older's shoulder. "if you're gonna wait around, at least come downstairs," felix nodded at that, standing up & following the younger downstairs.

felix sat near the window on the couch, seungmin & hyunjin sitting close by. the truth is, felix was worried; the whole day, changbin was spending time with jeongin & wanted to do everything with him, rather than wanting to do everything with felix. felix knew he shouldn't have been getting jealous, because he trusted changbin, & him & jeongin were very close, but he couldn't help it. you'd have to be crazy to not want to date changbin; he was the actual definition of perfect in felix's eyes. it was rare for changbin to get along with his friends the way he got along with felix, & for that reason, felix was anxious.

felix was wearing changbin's blue, black, & orange striped sweater with the grey hood, as he loved wearing the older's clothes, & it was very comfortable. it reminded him of his beloved boyfriend too, of course, but it also made him think about him & jeongin, which kept him worried. the sleeves of the sweater fell over felix's hands only slightly, felix grabbing them tightly for reassurance.

felix resumed to gazing outside; the rain had always calmed him down, & he loved the sound of it. felix was in his own little world, trapped in his thoughts, impatient waiting for the others to come home.

"you okay, lix?"  the blonde heard hyunjin ask. lix. that was what changbin called him.

felix felt his heart ache slightly as he turned to the two, nodding quickly, trying to avoid any more questions. felix couldn't stop thinking of changbin & jeongin, which, of course, just made his anxiety worse. felix's held his hands together, feeling the intense clamminess & shakiness of them as he did. he then heard the sound of tire tracks rolling along pavement very close by. he whipped his head around to face the window, seeing the black car that belonged to chan making its way into the driveway.

felix's heart began beating so rapidly that he could barely hear anything but his heartbeat. he wasn't sure what to do; do i stay here? do i go to the door? what do i say to changbin? what if he hates me? what if jeongin hates me? what if-

the door then swung open, revealing the four boys that went out, multiple bags of various things in their hands. felix stood up, wanting to walk over to changbin, but he could barely move because of how anxious he was.

"hey, sweetie," changbin's eyes lit up as he saw the younger. he walked over to his boyfriend, taking the blonde's shaky hands in his. felix didn't say anything, trying to smile, but he really couldn't move.

"lix, what's wrong? what happened?" changbin's expression dropped as he stared at the younger, now worried out of his mind.

felix, then snapping out of his daze, wrapped his arms around his boyfriend, burying his face in the crook of his neck. though felix was slightly taller, he still managed to find a way to hide himself in changbin's embrace. changbin could feel felix shaking hard, so he took action right away, rubbing the younger's back & quietly reassuring him that things were going to be okay.

changbin didn't know what happened to make felix like this, but that wasn't what mattered most in that moment. what mattered most was that he had to make sure his boy was okay.
