starstruck ♡ changlix (slow updates)

   "c'mon, lix, hurry up!" changbin rushed felix, his energy increasing by the second. changbin had planned the perfect way to ask felix to be his boyfriend, & he was so excited for it.

   "alright, alright, hyung! gosh, you're so rushy," felix giggled, quickly running outside after changbin. they got into changbin's car, ready to go to the "mystery place" changbin was taking the younger. the dark blanket of night sky was covered in small, twinkling stars. felix loved the stars almost as much as he loved changbin.

   they started to drive, butterflies fluttering around felix's stomach. after driving for a few more minutes, changbin parked the car on the side of the road near a large patch of grass.

   "i hope you love this, darling, i really do." changbin grinned sincerely at the younger before they got out of the car. changbin reluctantly took the australian boy's hand, which made felix, of course, blush at the action. they walked for a minute until they reached the top of a small hill among the open area.

   felix's jaw dropped as both boys took a moment to gaze around at the sight; it was the absolute perfect place to look at the stars. the small balls of light dazzled around the dark sky, contrasting amazingly. felix was in awe at the sight.

   "hyung, it's so..." felix began to say, but was too taken aback by what he was seeing. "c'mon, let's lay down," changbin began to lay out the large, blue blanket that he had brought. they laid down on the blanket, felix cuddling up with changbin as he was signaled to.

   "it's amazing," felix gaped, his pretty brown eyes dancing over everything they could. "it really is," changbin nodded, happy to see the younger so happy.

   "do you see any constellations?" changbin added on, genuinely wondering, for he was fascinated by felix's love for astronomy.

   "that one is orion," felix pointed upwards, outlining it so changbin could see it easier. "can be seen from all parts of the world. it's named after a hunter in greek mythology named orion, of course. if you look at it close enough, you can see it looks like orion holding his bow," felix added, changbin replying with a dramatic sound of realization as he saw it.

   "and that one, right over there, is crux," felix pointed a bit above orion. "located in the southern sky. it's also located in a brighter part of the milky way. it's very easy to see decipher; it's in the shape of a cross, which is quite simple. crux is the latin word for cross," felix told the older. changbin was genuinely astonished by how much felix knew. he found it so cute how happy he would get when talking about astronomy.

   the two stared up at the stars in awe for a few minutes, felix's eyes sparkling almost as much as the stars when he recognized more constellations. changbin found him & his actions absolutely precious.

   "hyung, why did you take me here?" felix asked, sitting up. changbin sat up as well, staring at the younger boy's small hands that rested on his lap.

   "i know how much you love the stars, so i wanted the perfect place to ask you something..." changbin responded, feeling a small smile tug its way onto his face. felix nodded, cocking his head to the side slightly.

   "i know it's a bit soon, but i don't wanna hold back anymore. felix, you're absolutely amazing, & i really, really like you. ever since i met you, you've been the one thing on my mind. you're so special to me. so, lee felix, will you be my boyfriend?" changbin watched as felix's eyes lit up even more than they already were.

   "of course, binnie hyung, i'd love to," felix launched himself at changbin, knocking him over as they both fell back on the blanket. both boys laughed, changbin ingulfing the younger into a hug as they did. felix pecked changbin on the cheek before they resumed to stargazing. they really did love each other, more than they could put into words. they were truly starstruck over each other, although it wasn't the fame that astonished them- it was just how infatuated they were with one another, & they were perfectly okay with that.
