Chapter 2: When a goddess is your partner

Alex's house

Alex was having breakfast but he was very nervous since a certain someone was sitting right next to him and his mother was quite surprised by this turn of events.

"I must say that you aren't exactly the type of girl that I thought my boy would bring back home but it is an honor to have one of the three dragon gods here in our........collapsing house, sorry about that" said Alex's mom.

"That's fine.............its obvious that you need a lot of help" said James.

"But you can help her, right? Please, I already lost my dad.........I don't want to lose my mother as well" said Alex.

James was already up and she soon fluttered her wings. Fairy dust soon floated towards Alex's mother and the moment the dust touched her, she became well again.

".........It's a miracle" said Alex's mom.

".........I don't know how to thank you" said Alex.

"Just doing the right thing" said James as she embraced Alex.

Alex once again blushed and was......getting excited since he's being hugged by a pretty girl and he was also on her chest again. It didn't help that James was also slowly rubbing the side of her face on Alex's own head and he really liked it.

"Fate is kind Alex, you have been rewarded for your efforts" said Alex's mom as she giggled at the situation in front of her.

"I........guess" said Alex as he began hugging his fairy back.

"So.............is this what you want to do from here on out? The choice is yours and no matter what you do, I will always love you and stand by your decisions" said Alex's mom.

"I love you too mom and that's why I will do this. To make sure we can have a better life, I'm going to be a chosen one. I must...........we're going to be alright, I promise" said Alex as he gave a reassuring smile to his mother.

Nodding, Alex's mother smiled back and she soon turned to face James.

"Please take care of my son" said Alex's mom.

"I will, no harm will come to him. Not as long as I'm around" said James.

"..........Guess the first thing to do is to go and register myself..........but....." said Alex.

"But?" asked James.

"Thing is.............I already have a fairy piece" said Alex as he took it out.

"How did you get that?" asked James as she looked at it.

"It fell out of a delivery truck and I was going to deliver it to its owner but..........once I saw what was inside, I gave into temptation. I've even customized it so I can't give it back........" said Alex with guilt in his voice.

He soon felt a hand on his shoulder and he looked up to see his fairy standing right beside him.

"Time to make things right" said James.

Castle

Alex was soon walking towards the castle, located right at the center of everything and it was massive. This entire castle should be an entire country in Alex's opinion.

He was soon at the front gates but the guards immediately stopped him.

"Halt there son, what's your business here?" asked a guard.

"Registration, where do I go in order to do that?" asked Alex.

"So a new one eh? My pleasure, just pass through this door and you'll see a desk ahead. Speak to the person there and everything will be taken care of. By the way......where is your fairy? I need to at least see her in order to let you in, got to have some proof after all...otherwise I'm not doing my job properly" said the guard.
