Derrick desperately attempted to get the bacon on fire in the pan to stop burning. She could never remember being this accident prone at this time in the morning, but then again she was still nervous about the boy from last night. Was he okay? Who was he? Why was he over here? And what about that scar under his eye? Derrick decided that she needed answers now.

She was about to run out of the door, but decided that running out of the house in her pajamas and without her keys or shoes, probably wasn't the best idea she'd had.

Five minutes later after a quick outfit change and some make up, Derrick slipped her keys into her pocket and made her way across the hall - just after she'd remembered to turn the flaming grill off.

Levi meanwhile was sat in complete silence, as she waited for her half brother to come out of the bathroom. What the hell happened to him anyway?! First he goes out saying he needs to meet someone, then he calls her the next morning asking for clothes?! He had some questions to answer.

Said half brother suddenly emerged from the bathroom and she swore she saw that girl - what was her name again? Raoul! - Raoul's eyes grew wide at the sight of him. She'd better stay away from Jodie, all girls had done was cause heartache and problems for him. Levi's thoughts suddenly rewound back to the events of just a year before.

"I'm sorry Levi I just can't take it any more!"

"And overdosing will help?! Put those fucking pills down and just think for a moment!"

"I'm fucking thinking now! And I'm thinking that I want to DIE!"

"And what about the people you'll leave behind?!"

"PEOPLE?! I have no-fucking-one who'll care that I'm gone!"

"SO I'M FUCKING NO ONE NOW?!"

His tortured eyes glanced at her from under his bangs, and met her hurt eyes hidden by her hair as she bowed her head in despair.

"Fine. Kill yourself. No one'll care. Cus I'm no one. The bullies told me so."

"Levi?"

She snapped back to reality suddenly only to see - Raoul was it? - in front of her.

"I was just asking if you wanted a drink?" Raoul smiled gently at her, as if she seemed to know what Levi was going through.

Yeah right. No one understood Levi.

"Water please" she replied to the girl in front of her.

After Levi had downed her cracked and chipped glass of water, she motioned to Jodie that they should be leaving.

"Thanks for having me and Levi round but we must be going now! I left my number on the table, I'd love to meet you again."

Oh good god he'd fallen for a girl again.

Raoul smiled and held out her hand for a handshake. Jodie held her hand and kissed it. Levi rolled her eyes. "Always the charmer" she thought.

She made her way to the door and waited for her idiotic half brother. When he eventually stopped trying to charm a now blushing Raoul, she swung the door open - hearing a quiet "Oof" as it collided with a girl with messy blonde hair stood behind it.
