Raoul began to make her way home, she vaguely knew this area of Death Valley. Her shoes - borrowed from Levi of course - made gentle thudding noises against the ground as she walked. The city really did look like shit at the moment, she admitted to herself. The polluted sky was a dusty beige in the morning light, and the ground was various shades of grey and brown. She kicked an empty beer can with her foot, not caring who she hit.
After a thoughtful half hour walk home, she changed into her normal clothes s d decided to check up on Derrick.
As she neared the apartment, she could hear the sound of a piano, and someone singing along to it. At first she thought it was a CD, but after around a minute of listening she realised it was Derrick. She didn't even realise that Derrick still played piano, and how much emotion was she putting into playing?
The song ended and she knocked on the door.
"H-Hey Raoul"
"Was that you playing?"
Derrick's cheeks flushed scarlet.
"I'm sorry! I was shit right?! I'll stop playing!"
"No Derrick you're amazing, please play some more"
"O-Okay"
The blonde invited Raoul in, and sat her on the moth-eaten couch.
She started to play the opening to Knives and Pens by Black Veil Brides. She played with so much energy and force, not bothering to brush her hair out of her eyes. Nothing could stop her.
She finished and swept her hair out of her eyes.
"Any good?"
Raoul's jaw almost hit the floor.
"We need to get you to Holy Wood."
