"What?!"

"Derrick we need to get you to Holy Wood."

"N-No way! I've never played for anyone besides you!"

"I'll drag you there if I have to!"

"Well have fun trying cus I'm not going!"

"Fuck you Derrick! I'm only trying to help!"

"Well maybe I don't want your fucking help!"

Raoul glared at the angry blonde and stomped out of the room, slamming the door behind her. She returned to her apartment, locking the door so no one could get in.

After slumping onto the creaking sofa, Raoul noticed a piece of paper on the coffee table from yesterday.

She stood up and took a closer look at it, it was Jodie's phone number! She dialled the number and waited for someone to pick up.

"Hello?" came a polite male voice.

"Hey Jodie, it's Raoul"

"Hey Raoul, how'd you get my number?"

"You left it on a piece of paper round my apartment."

"Oh yeah, what up?"

"Uhm me and Derrick had an argument....."

"You want me to come round?"

"Please"

"Okay I'll be there soon"

She put the chipped phone down. Soon twenty minutes had passed and Raoul began to worry, he should've been here by now. She grabbed her jacket and decided to wait outside for him.

Standing outside the apartment block she noticed a gang out the corner of her eye, Raoul decided to ignore them. She didn't want to be subjected to anything the gang had to 'offer', she'd just be another stupid headline. She'd probably be between some fake celebrity's 'perfect body' and another scandal of some sort on a trashy tabloid cover. And trust me, she'd have much rather have been between two good-for-nothing gang members than those 'news' stories.

The gang approached quickly. Raoul's breathing deepened as she desperately tried not to think of the worst case scenario.

"Hey what've we got here" a sneering voice from one side said.

'Oh no, 'perfect body' and scandal filler, here we come' she thought.

"Damn, she's hot"

Before she knew it Raoul was flung to the floor with six gang members, looking at her like a lion looks at a zebra - just another meal.

She clenched her eyes shut and tried not to focus on what was happening. She felt her jacket come off, she guessed that they had worse in mind for her. A slimy hand brushed her bare arms, and she felt someone grab her shirt.

'Oh my god they're trying to rip my shirt off'

She struggled but only succeeded in kicking one of them in the private parts. She smirked a little when she heard him squeal like a pig. She attempted to wrestle off the motherfucker that was holding her shirt, but was instead met with the sound of tearing material.

'Oh shit oh shit oh shit'

She felt a hand reach for her crotch, but before they could do anything-

"HEY! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING TO MY GIRLFRIEND!!!!!!!!"

'Yes he's here!'

She wanted to cry in relief but

1. Then those shitfaced dicks would rape her for sure.

2. She would definately fuck up her eye make up.

Raoul's eyes fluttered open, to see Jodie confronting the five gang members - the one that she kicked was still on the floor, with any luck he'd need surgery, and she wouldn't trust any of the surgeons at Death Valley hospital even if her life depended on it.

She felt someone grab her from behind, and was about to scream until she noticed it was Levi and Derrick.

"Raoul I am so sorry!" Derrick threw her arms around the petrified girl.

Levi said nothing, and wordlessly wrapped one of Derrick's jackets around Raoul.

They watched the fight unfold, it was obvious that Jodie couldn't take them on his own. They saw an object flash in the polluted sunlight - a knife.

Levi and Derrick ran into the fight, instructing Raoul to stay put.

She stood up, about to run into the fight, however a figure wearing entirely black ran into the commotion. Raoul watched in astonishment as whoever it was pushed into the crowd of fighting people.

She saw a shiny silver blade being held above someone's head.

Moments later a piercing scream filled the air and the gang fled.

Raoul ran towards the figure huddled on the ground.

The figure was surrounded by something.

That something was a dark red.

A shiny object tainted with red glistened in the figure's stomach.

Raoul reached to the red on the ground.

Raoul saw blood on her hand.

Raoul saw red.
