"Does that hurt?"

"Yes."

"How about that?"

"Hurts even more"

"That?"

"OW MOTHERFUCKER!"

Derrick was sat in Raoul's living room, being poked and prodded by Raoul. Levi sat to one side of her, clearly annoyed by the delay in going home. Jodie meanwhile was searching for another ice pack for Derrick's injuries.

"Why didn't you just come in?"

"I didn't want to interrupt you guys..."

Levi softened a little at this, it seemed that they had at least one thing in common - they were both shy.

Jodie walked in with an ice pack, and grinned at Raoul. His burst lip started bleeding again and Levi simply rolled her eyes at him.

"Jodie we should be going now" she said in a quiet voice.

Jodie seemed to have got the point because he said goodbye to the pair, and left the apartment with Levi. He winced at the stain of his blood from last night as they passed it.

As soon as they got home, Jodie could tell that Levi was not impressed. Here comes the argument......

"What the fuck were you thinking?!"

"I got beat up that's all! They took care of me!"

"So that's why you ended up shirtless in some girl's apartment?!"

"Again! They helped me!"

"I saw the way you were staring at that girl with the blue hair!"

"Raoul won't hurt me! And don't talk about her like that!"

"How do you know that she won't hurt you?! You were only there for one hour after you'd woken up! That's hardly enough time to get to know someone!"

"Shut up Levi! I just know!"

"What do you know Jodie?!"

The room fell silent for a moment. Suddenly Levi realised what he meant.

"You have a crush on her don't you?!"

Jodie bit his lip lightly, wincing as it bled again for the second time that day.

"You don't you?!" She screamed, her jaw open in disbelief.

"Okay maybe!" he yelled back, a light blush showing on his cheeks.

"I don't fucking believe you." Levi hissed, before turning to her room.

She held one hand on the doorknob till she heard it lock. The sludgy sunlight peeped through the gaps in the ceiling, she sighed and pulled out her battered guitar and began to play. She started to play Marilyn Manson, it always made her feel better. She played the opening of The Nobodies and felt more at ease.

Her many paintings and drawings covered her walls, and despite the many bowls and saucepans that littered her room in case it rained and the roof leaked it was a pretty cool room. It was also a lot better than her half brother's room, he had and entire section of his roof missing.

She finished the song and began to play Coma White, singing along to herself. It was Levi's biggest dream to sing for people, but she was terrified of being rejected. Being rejected like everyone except Jodie did to her.
