Last night was perfect. We danced, we kissed, and I got Annabeth to stay over. Everything was good and all, until I had a nightmare. The kind you want to walk up from, but you can't.

In my dream, I saw people running amok, covering their heads from the large crows that circled around them. Some of them fell down screaming. There was a soldier who laid on the ground, not moving. When I went to check up on him, a crow way picking at his eyes. Disgusted, I looked away and tried to help some people get to safety, but I stopped by an enormous crow. His claws grabbed me by my shoulders and soared into the air. He flew over the ocean and dropped me. I slowly fell to my watery grave. My lungs filled with water and my vision blurred. I woke up with start, which also woke Annbeth from her sleep.

"Huh?!" She said, drowsy and confused.

I sighed and gulp. "It's nothing, baby. Go back to sleep."

Annabeth rubbed her eyes and nodded. She tucked her head under my chin, placed her hand on my bare chest, and sighed into sleep. I watched her back rise and relax in a pattern. I looked down at her face. She looked so peaceful. It was cute the way she breathed. It was one small breaths after another. I placed my hand on her head and gently pulled a few strands of her curly hair from her face. She was so beautiful. I was glad she was mine. I softly kissed her forehead several times.

"Percy..." She smiled and whispered in her sleep. I watched her sleep until she finally woke up. She gave me a small smile. "Good morning." She told me.

"Good morning." I replied.

Just then, someone started knocking hard on my front door, over and over, in the most annoying way that it made Annabeth and I grunt. I kissed her forehead once more, then slid out of bed. I went to my dresser and pulled out a drawer full of spare shirts. I took a shirt and pushed the drawer back into place. I headed to the bathroom, brushed my teeth and combed my hair. The knocking wasn't as loud anymore. I guessed whoever it was doing the racket was nagged at ny one of my neighbors. I left my bathroom and headed towards my bedroom door.

"I'll be right back." I told Annabeth. Sat up on the bed and covered her body with my sheets.

"I'll be waiting." She said in a very seductive way.

I smirked, opened my bedroom door, and closed it behind me. The person knocked a few more times before I opened the door. Jason stood in front of me with a big grin on his face.

"Percy!" He said. "I got great news for you, I can't wait to-" He stopped as I held the door in place, pushing it against his hand. He gave a confused look then his face lit up again. "You and Annabeth! Annabeth and you! Is she in there?!" He asked with excitement.

"SHHHHHH." I hushed at him. "Geez, don't tell the world!"

Jason put a finger over his lips. "Right, right. Sorry."

I let him enter and his grin grew. "What?" I asked him, a little creeped out by his grin.

"Did you..." Jason implied.

"Oh God, no! We just...made out... Why am I even telling you this?" I blushed. Jason chuckled at my discomfort. "Anyway, you can't stay for too long. Tell me the news and make it quick."

Jason held his arms up. "We're going to Hawaii!" I wasn't so happy by that news, but Jason was still waiting for me to cheer. "What's the matter? You don't like Hawaii?"

I laughed and rubbed the back of my head. "I do. I mean- this is great, but..."

Jason held his hand up. "I know what you mean. It'll be okay, Percy."

"Will it?" I asked. I doubted Annabeth would wait for me, if I left.

"Sure, it will! I leave all the time, but I'm still faithful to Piper. She's my everything." Jason said, as he reached into a pocket in his uniform and pulled out a picture of Piper. "She's with me wherever I go." He stuck it back into his pocket that hovered over his heart. He patted the pocket and left his hand on it. I laughed. "Why are you laughing? I mean it!"
