Ch.14: New Life

Lauren POV

"I forgive you, Choi Junhong. I forgive you," I finally told him. So many things were felt inside me when I told him that. After all this that had happened .. I finally got my grudges out and started to forgive him.

"Are you for reals?" He asked with widened eyes. I smiled and nodded.

"Seriously?" He still asked with a face of misbelief.

I giggled. "Yes, Junhong."

He held out his arm to me and looked away.

"Pinch me, please. I've got to be dreaming."

Hehe, being the evil girl that I am, I grabbed his soft pale skin on his arm and twisted it and my nails dug into it, and Zelo pulled his arm away with a yelp.

I just had to .. Hehe. But then a few seconds later, he was smiling like crazy.

"You .. forgave me," He said with a calm tone and a warm smile, still rubbing his arm though. I nodded.

"Wow, you forgave me! Lauren you have no idea!!" He exclaimed, hugging me tightly and not allowing me to breathe.

"Hey .. I need .. Air.." I said in almost a whisper. He let go and I gave a huge breath. Ah, air, I missed you.

"Sorry, I'm so happy! I always thought this would be impossible!" He exclaimed. He grabbed both my hands, sighed in satisfaction, and just looked into my eyes. We stayed that way for a couple of seconds until he broke the silence.

"Thank you. Thank you for being so forgiving. I promise, I will never in my life hurt you ever again. I'd rather kill myself than to hurt you," He promised. I frowned.

"Don't mention suicide," I said.

"Oh, right. Um, then in other words, the last thing I would ever do is hurt you again. Okay?" He said. I nodded in comprehension and he smiled, hugging me tightly and keeping me in his embrace for a while.

I have never felt so loved. All these new feelings I'm discovering, I never knew it existed. I'm so lucky now. I'm in the arms of Choi Junhong, the boy that actually shared the same feelings as I did but we went through a misunderstanding, and we were both strong enough to go through it.

"My arm still stings, you know," He suddenly said. I giggled.

"I'm sorry," I said. He let go of me and looked at me.

"You can pinch me all you want. Especially my cheeks but not that hard," He said, causing me to laugh. I gently reached for his cheeks and pinched them ever so softly, almost caressing them. They were so soft and pale ..

I suddenly felt hands on my own cheeks, and now we just found ourselves playing with our cheeks. I giggled when I noticed it and so did he. Now I love him more than I already did, now that I know him better.

"So .. Aren't you excited? You're getting out of here soon, then we'll be together all day every day!" He said excitedly. I smiled and nodded. But wait, we aren't officially dating yet .. And maybe it's too soon right now?

"Lauren, promise me you'll give me the chance for me to show you my love for you one day," He suddenly said. He caught me off guard and I looked up at him. His eyes were so sincere.

"Wait, take that back. I'm going to show you how much I love you everyday, but one day, just watch, one day, we'll finally be together," He said with a huge smile. Wow, where did all his kindness come from?!

"I've never seen this side of you before .." I said.

"That's because I always hid it from you, thinking you wouldn't accept me as the childish silly boy I am," He responded.
