Lemon grass and drinking tea
Buzzing but no sign of bees
Hopscotch, cartwheels, socks on grass
Broken pottery, green sea glass
Wide brimmed hats and pastel clothes
Puppies in the sun and cats having a doze
Necklaces of wire wrapped round stones
Mystery books and telephones
Mint tea, chocolate, bubble gum
Picking apples and a cherry plum
Sunny wheat fields, no signs of gloom
Dandelions in full bloom
Their seeds drift off and fill my hair
Really they get everywhere
Kites, balls and paper games
Broken wood on campfire flames
Cardigans in pink and yellow
The gentle breeze is soft and mellow
