After class ended on Friday, Izuku jogged for a short distance to catch up to his temporary boyfriend.
"Hey Kacchan, I can sleep at my house and stuff still, right?" Izuku asked.
"I don't fucking care, as long as it isn't my bed." Katsuki replied.
"W-When does your grandmother want to meet me? Like do I arrive at your house with you or would that..." Izuku trailed off into muttering.
"Just fucking come over for dinner tonight, and maybe tomorrow depending on what bullshit soba does. Got it, Deku?" Katsuki exhaled slowly after he spoke.
Izuku and Katsuki took the train together, solely for convenience. That, and Katsuki's grandmother was so excited to meet Izuku that she demanded they both return to the Bakugou household as soon as possible.
The train cart was fairly empty, it was barley 15:30 yet.
"Kacchan," Izuku started, determined to break the heavy silence between them. "How do you act like someone's boyfriend?"
"How the fuck am I supposed to know, stupid Deku," he mumbled.
"Well uh, m-maybe you can call me Izuku?" Deku suggested.
"Fucking hell. Fine. I-Izuk-ku," Katsuki choked out the name he probably hadn't used for a decade.
"Kacchan"
"What do you want now?"
"Can I- Can I hold your hand?"
Katsuki choked slightly. He supposed that is what boyfriends do. He reluctantly held his hand out. Katsuki tensed up slightly as Izuku intertwined his hand with his own.
"Wow Kacchan! Your hands are super soft!" Izuku exclaimed.
When Katsuki finally turned to face Izuku, he almost had to squint from the way the freckled boy was grinning so brightly.
Izuku's hand was cold and rough. Katsuki found himself rubbing his thumb along the scars on his hand, where he could feel the extra tissue underneath the skin.
Both boys were lost in thought until the train announced their stop and they both stood up and exited after grabbing their bags.
The fake couple walked through the familiar neighbourhood until they reached the Bakugo household.
Katsuki opened the door, which was unlocked for his expected arrival.
"We're here, Ma," he called out into the house.
Katsuki and Izuku removed their shoes and left their travel bags at the front door, to be collected later.
Mitsuki came charging towards the pair looking relieved. "Katsuki! Izuku! It's been so long!" she said while wrapping one arm around each of the boy's necks and pulling them into a hug.
It had probably been ten years since he was last in Katsuki's house, Izuku realized.
Mitsuki lead the boys to the living room where no other then Mito Bakugou sat, sipping tea.
"Katsuki-mago!" the older woman smiled as she saw her grandson. "You're so big! What have they been feeding you at that hero school?"
Katsuki scoffed. "I don't eat their shi- Ow Ma what the hell?" he was interrupted in his sentence when Mitsuki kicked him in the shin. A signal not to swear in front of his grandmother.
"Oh my! You must be Izuku! Katsuki's little boyfriend!" the seemingly sweet woman was now looking at Izuku.
Masaru Bakugou cast a wary glance between the two boys and his wife, wondering which of Mitsuki's antics they had been dragged into.
"Y-Yes that's me!" Izuku stammered while bowing politely. "It's a pleasure to meet you."
"Isn't he just a sweetheart!" Mito gushed.
Katsuki stiffled a laugh at the sight of Izuku who looked like he was about to short circuit.
