"You're joking!" You yelled slamming your hands down onto the desk. Your dad Garp standing right across from you with a serious expression on his face. He looked at you unfazed as he spoke. "We are to help in the execution of Ace and Whitebeard." He said calmly.

Your eyes went wide in anger as you grit your teeth together. "The hell is this? How are you so calm? How can you act like nothing is wrong?!" You yelled angry. He didn't say anything as he just stood there looking at you. "Well screw that! I refuse to help you!" You yelled going to leave.

"(Y/n)! You are a Marine! Know your place!" Your dad yelled causing you to freeze. "A Marine huh?" You asked eyed shadowed over. "Last I checked you didn't give me much of a choice." You whispered glaring back at him. "I should've ran off with my brother that day. I should've taken Ace and Luffy away from you."

Was all you said before slamming the door shut leaving Garp by himself. You stormed down the hall biting your lip. 'Why dad...' You thought remembering your two nephews from when they were just kids. You ended up leaning against a wall. "Ah! Vice admiral (Y/n)! What's wrong?!" Someone called running over to you.

You just slid down the wall a hand over your mouth as you cried. "How could you dad?! HOW COULD YOU KILL OUR FAMILY?!?!" You screamed.

~time skip~

You stood next to Ace silently a blank expression on your face as you looked out at the sea your hair blowing back in the wind. 'This is all wrong.' You thought closing your eyes. "Hey...aunt (Y/n)." You opened your eyes and glanced down at your nephew Ace.

He held a blank expression as well. "What's wrong? You look like you're about to cry." He said glancing up at you. You just looked at him for a moment before tearing up. "Oh Ace..." You whispered falling to your knees. "I'm so sorry...I should be trying to rescue you but here I am just standing here right before your execution." You cried.

"Hey now...don't cry." Ace whispered giving you a small smile. "What happened to the aunt I know? Ya know the one who was always smiling?" He asked. You just looked at him and cried some more. "Pull yourself together (Y/n)." You heard your dad call.

Your eyes narrowed at you looked back glaring at Garp who had walked up over to the two of you. "This is war. Stop your crying." He said looking down at you arms crossed. "SHUT UP YOU BASTARD!" You yelled standing up. "I HOPE THIS WAR KILLS YOU!" You screamed before jumping off of the execution stand.

~Garp's POV~

I watched as that stubborn daughter of mine jumped off the execution stand to join the other Marines. I let out a small sigh as I took a seat next to Ace. "Old man...why did you make her come here?" He asked whispered. I could tell he was keeping a close eye on (Y/n).

"She's a Marine. It's her duty to serve in this war no matter what." I mumbled. "Still...she's family." Ace whispered biting his lip. "She raised me and Luffy along with Dadan...how can you make her watch my execution?" He growled. I didn't say anything as I glanced over at him.

'Ace...' I thought closing my eyes.

~Flashback~

"Huh?! Roger's son?!" (Y/n) asked shocked. I nod my head as I hold the baby boy in my arm. "Are you crazy?! You could get in big trouble for this dad!" She yelled at me. "I promised Roger I'd take care of the boy...plus his mother is dead now." I said calmly.

I watched as (Y/n)'s angry expression faltered slightly. She had been very close with her mother before she died as well. "So...what do you plan on doing with him?" She asked looking down at Ace who was asleep. "I planned on brining him up to Dadan." I said.
